Congrats!!
For most of us, "I will start investing next month" has become a way of life. I've been building products long enough to know that when people put off something that's innately good for them, it's not because of a lack of information. We have held back because of friction. Investment today requires scrambling through too many steps and processing too much jargon. As a result, most of us even hesitate to talk about investing. @sipseapp is our humble effort to clear all of that away so that taking the first step feels as easy as saving. Founder mode?
Since when can I gamble on airbnb?😭 You bet $14 that it’ll rain and you can win $114 a day, absolutely insane odds

Very well written!
We keep hearing that hosting open-source models prints money. I ran the numbers on DeepSeek V4.1 Flash: H200 can't cover its rent even at 100% utilization, B300 breaks even at ~35%. Profitable, yes. Simple, no. Curious what others see in production.

Love this country and her leaders' resolve to make it #1

EU is cancer
Zasesti nacionalno RTV s policijo in zamenjati vodstvo (Poljska); 6. Prekiniti mandate vodstvu nacionalne RTV in izvesti čistko zaposlenih (Slovenija); 7. Poslati v zapor člane prejšnje vlade brez možnosti obrambe (Madžarska); 8. Podeliti skoraj milijon državljanstev ilegalnim migrantom po hitrem postopku (Španija); 9. Zapreti novo Nuklearno elektrarno in zgraditi plinovod do Rusije (Nemčija); 10.

Not a surprise at all UAE and Singapore will become even wealthier
JUST IN: ITALY EXIT TAX 🇮🇹 Italy proposes a 26% exit tax on unrealized investment gains for people leaving the country from 2027. It’d apply to those with €800k+ in relevant assets who were tax residents for at least 6 of the last 10 years. I've been warning you: European countries are bankrupt and will try to seize your assets. The exit is closing.

Hmm could be a security nightmare
1/3 A CPU inside an LLM is one thing, but running another LLM inside an LLM would be taking things a bit too far, wouldn't it? Anyways, here's an LLM running inside an LLM : QwenPU, an LLM (@karpathy's stories260k) running on an NPU compiled inside Qwen 3.5-4B's weights.

Or get the fuck out of the country. Difference between being a nationalist vs a complete retard
Young startup founders in India getting disappointed by VCs / Investors.. who don't show up for meetings, don't respond to emails or chats, reject the pitches, or simply pass on your startup? Wait till you meet Investors who go back on their word, fish info for their investments, do not honour commitments, withdraw termsheets, vanish before signing SHAs, have cold feet on executed agreements, and so on. Stop crying foul about it, and move ahead with building your business. It's all part of the game you signed up for. Founders have to win despite all of this, and they do win!

our startup was acquired today :) jenni ai is now part of the digital science family we fucking did it!!!!! i could go on and on about why this acquisition is so perfect, but i’ll save that for another time for now, i want to focus on the fact that we built jenni in public from day one all the way to exit there was honestly very little i didn’t share, so i hope this archive of our journey can help a few founders on their own fantastical journeys thank you to everyone who's followed along and witnessed all the pivots, near bankruptcies, and general hijinks that come with running a company despite the roller coaster, we ended by hitting our highest MRR ever shortly before deal close 🥳 it's been a crazy ride, you all helped me live out my dream, truly i owe my success to my team, my investors, and my family for all of their support throughout the years not too bad for a college dropout who had to move back in with his parents!

Something is wrong If you want reasoning, you want more data. If you want more knowledge - you need to go for more parameters. STT is a latter problem in most cases. It should go down to 0 with good data and enough scale. Only 2 conclusions here - 1. Training data was bad 2. Benchmarks are faulty, a model this size should have a much bigger jump

Mobile PLI stats as follows: Government incentive paid: Rs 19,000 Cr. Direct tax collected: Rs 25,000 Cr. GST collected: Rs 3,00,000 Cr. Electronics manufacturing employs 25 Lakh people; mobile manufacturing alone employs 12 Lakh. Cope harder!!

So 9.7B includes salaries, training and inference costs all put together? That's nuts, nowhere close to spending billions in solo training runs. What is the true cost of training a frontier model with labs then? 100-500M USD?
The most mind blowing stat we've seen so far is this: "As of June 30, 2026, we had raised an aggregate of $141.1 billion of capital and had cash and cash equivalents of $112.4 billion and short-term investments of $19.3 billion." That means to date, they have burned 9.7b, they are growing at a rapid pace, and are profitable on an operating income basis as of the June quarter! This is likely the most efficient scaling of a business in the history of capitalism. nitter.cf/AnthropicAI/status/211…

🚀Excited to announce Nanbeige4.3-33B! To push the performance ceiling of small agents, our strategy in Nanbeige4.3 starts with building a powerful teacher first. Nanbeige4.3-33B delivers SOTA agentic performance among open models at ~30B parameters: * Strong results on agentic coding and cowork benchmarks. * When integrated into mainstream agent harnesses, it tackles real-world tasks with cost-efficient inference. * It will serve as a teacher for upcoming smaller Nanbeige models, starting with Nanbeige4.3-3B. huggingface.co/Nanbeige/Nanb… huggingface.co/Nanbeige/Nanb… #LLM #Agent

I really hate to say this but this most likely is the right answer
Oh my goodness this has to be right. Instead of generating a random 256-bit number they generated a random number between 0 and 256. That’s how they got 4, 66, 155, 156, 230 and 237.

Let’s be clear: this is a highly inappropriate way to model the effect of Prop 40 on taxpayer behavior. For one, it’s a basic violation of rational expectations, a cornerstone of modern economics. In Jaros and @joshrauh world, the billionaires act irrationally: they respond to a policy that does not exist and will never exist. Economics students around the world are taught this is not an appropriate way to model behavior — but apparently in this context (fighting Prop 40) it’s OK.

Full of class, what a gem!
Pranesh, I’m flattered that you’re a fan. But I’m a little shaken by the confidence with which you’ve handed me a 20-year expiry date! I know that would be a respectable innings, but I was hoping to stick around on the planet just a wee bit longer. So before we discuss V8 engines, could I persuade you to extend my warranty? 😀
