A sensitization and outreach programme on the Odisha Seva First Innovation Challenge (OSFIC) was conducted in Kalahandi on 22nd October 2026. School students and their teachers came together to explore a big idea: that innovation can begin in a classroom, and a student can become a problem-solver and a future entrepreneur.
Students learned about the challenge, the problem statements, and how they can take part with guidance from their teachers.
🎯 Aim
To spark curiosity, creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset among school students, and connect them early with Odisha's innovation and startup ecosystem.
📌 Objectives
• Introduce school students to innovation, problem-solving and entrepreneurship
• Give them real, pre-identified problem statements to think about and solve
• Encourage participation from girls and students from tribal communities
• Support the best ideas with mentoring, training and recognition
• Showcase the most promising student innovations at the national level
Students, do you have an idea that can solve a real problem?
Register on the OSFIC portal: osfic.startupodisha.org/
Choose a pre-identified problem statement across 21 themes, or submit your own through BYOP
Upload your solution
The next big innovation could be yours!!
