They were watching the game when something in the distance suddenly changed everything.
A Quiet Place Part II (2020) takes us back to Day 1, before the Abbotts knew what had invaded their world—or what the creatures were capable of.
One moment, the town is alive and completely unaware. The next, panic erupts as something terrifying begins moving through the streets.
Lee Abbott realizes something is terribly wrong and races back to his family, while Evelyn desperately tries to keep her children safe.
Then they see it.
The first attack has begun and they have no idea what they’re up against.
They were already saying it.
Not with words, but with how close they stood and how neither of them stepped back.
Rain kept falling. The street stayed empty.
And for a second, that was enough.
He didn’t ask.
She didn’t answer.
They just stayed there, foreheads almost touching, like the choice had already been made and the kiss could wait.
Some love stories don’t start with a kiss.
They start with a look that refuses to leave.
Wet hair. Warm light. Two people who could walk away but don’t.
The rain didn’t care.
It kept falling on both of them while they decided, without speaking, that leaving would hurt more than staying.
She looked up.
He leaned in.
And then they stopped, right on the edge of it, because some moments are bigger before they happen.
This is what almost looks like.
Not regret. Not fear.
Just two people in the rain, close enough to feel the yes and still holding it.
Nobody spoke.
The streetlight did all the talking.
Gold on the water. Rain on their faces. A distance so small it barely counted.
He could have kissed her.
She would have let him.
Instead, they stayed like that, breathing the same cold air, and somehow that felt louder.
Love doesn’t always arrive as a kiss.
Sometimes it arrives as a pause.
A wet street. A warm lamp. Two people who finally stop pretending they don’t want to stay.
The movies cut here.
Right before the kiss, when the feeling is still whole.
No promise yet. No mistake yet.
Just rain, and the choice still sitting between them.

The U.S. just built a new battle tank for the future of War. For 46 years, the M1 Abrams has been America's favourite battle tank, so they kept upgrading it until the Army's own generals admitted the design had hit its ceiling. With every new upgrade, the Abrams just kept getting heavier and heavier until, in September 2023, the Army cancelled all further work, including everything they had already paid for. What replaced it instead is the M1E3: the first Abrams with no gas turbine, no human loader, and no one sitting in the turret at all.

Never forgive! Never forget!
Iranians will never forget the biggest attack on the Jews since the Holocaust. Every single terrorist involved in the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel must be served justice. And do not forget: the head of the snake is in Iran. Never again! 🦁🌞🤝🇮🇱

Do you support Italian PM Meloni planning to ban burqas in Italy?
a. Hell Yes
b. No
Meloni now has a credible Italian right-wing party (on her right) pushing to close the border & immediate full remigration - the National Future party. So Meloni is taking a harder line.

BREAKING: I'm told by DHS sources that the two suspects wanted for attempted murder in connection to the stabbing & robbery of an off-duty NYPD detective in NYC on Friday are both Dominican illegal aliens who were caught and released at the AZ border by the Biden administration & both have lengthy criminal histories in NYC, including an ignored ICE detainer.
Both suspects remain at large, and while NYPD hasn't officially released their names yet, @FoxNews is told they've been identified as 24-year-old SNEIDER MEJIA BAUTISTA and 25-year-old DANGELO RAFAEL JEAN CARABALLO.
I'm told that MEJIA BAUTISTA, a Dominican national, was arrested by Border Patrol after crossing the border illegally near San Luis, AZ on 12/2/2022 with his family, and they were all released into the country. He and his family have had deportation orders since 5/8/2025. I'm told that MEJIA BAUTISTA was arrested by NYPD in the Bronx for criminal possession of a weapon on 10/3/2025 and the next day, ICE filed a detainer on him, but the detainer was ignored and he was released from local custody. I'm told he was also arrested by NYPD on 1/7/2025 for criminal possession of stolen property.
I'm told that DANGELO RAFAEL JEAN CARABALLO, a Dominican national, was arrested by Border Patrol after crossing the border illegally near San Luis, AZ on 2/2/2023, and he was released into the country with a future court date. He has five prior arrests in NYC, but no ICE detainers were filed because he was released from custody so quickly each time. His priors include:
1/5/2024 - Arrested by NYPD for reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing from police officer, and reckless driving
12/20/24 - Arrested by NYPD for being in possession of burglar's tools
6/4/2025 - Arrested by NYPD for criminal possession of a controlled substance
10/26/25 - Arrested by NYPD for criminal possession of a loaded firearm
7/10/2026 - Arrested by NYPD for criminal menacing involving a weapon
Per DHS sources, on each arrest, he was released so quickly that he was already out of custody by the time the feds knew about the encounters and couldn't put detainers on him in time.
