No doubt at all these CA homeowner LOST their good fire insurance policies years ago- like hundreds of thousands of other CA homeowners, solely because of failed leadership run by CA Dems. After we lost our policies, did the D leaders fix the problem so that State Farm etc would return? NO. Instead CA โleadersโ created a new government run cr*p fire insurance plan -take it or leave it b/c there are zero alternatives. This smells like more CA corruption. More $$$ for Cali govt for far less in return. The govt does NOT do things better, but in CA the leaders are drunk on taxpayer $ and their belief that they KNOW whatโs best for us. For all the people loosing their homes in this fire, I suspect many will just leave, b/c the โnewโ CA govt plan is insufficient to rebuildโฆ.like Pacific Palisadeโs and Malibu fire victims.
