Love it!
today's fun ai coding tricking - when doing the high-level part of your plan, do an amazon-style "working backwards" approach - write the customer-facing blog post about the feature BEFORE you start building
this can surface so many edge cases and help you dial in on prioritizing the important parts, and just is much nicer to read (plus you can post it after you ship 🙂)

I wrote the PRFAQ for my AI powered product agent and received feedback from a practicing product manager. Surprisingly I had missed to specify the outcome, clarify why product managers should care, and differentiation. I had not anticipated this.

Something is happening in Seattle right now. Layoffs + AI + Tech + ☔️ = countless side-projects, ready for the next step -> Founders galore.
What's missing is a place where it all connects.
We built it. 🧵

Ask people for PRFAQ. Worked for Bezos, also worked okay for us at Meesho. Just that reader (generally higher status) too has to work hard, so most orgs never adopt it I guess.

Yeah..101 of product geeking. I now start with PRFAQ to ensure the most difficult part i.e. GTM is well thought through

If your solution doesn’t match a real customer problem, nothing else matters.
Not operations, not distribution, not the idea you love.
This is the foundation of real innovation.

Big projects fail quietly when teams align on what to build, but not why.
At Zalando, we use PRFAQs to align executives early.
I wrote a blog breaking it down with a real example:

Too many teams jump straight into tech stacks, roadmaps, and features.
@calbucci reminds us: think strategy, not execution.
Focus on why you’re building, not what you’re building.
🎯 Purpose > Product.
