“I never thought hrt would fix MY brain,” sobs woman who voted for the HRT Fixing People's Brains Party.
Cop City just got its badge REVOKED, and the NYPD finally met something it couldn't police – organized New Yorkers. 🌹
Join @nycdsarjwg to organize for a city that invests in care over criminalization, prevention over punishment, and communities over cops.
I was the first Philadelphia Whole Foods worker hired under the chatbot Sage and it delayed my start by a week because the management had decided to hire me but officially Sage had to be the one to make the decision and they didn’t know how to get it to do that
This is such a bleak story about what it's like to try to land a job right now. nytimes.com/interactive/2026…

it’s so mortifying but yeah if a bartender doesn’t like you you have to kill yourself sadly

worth noting this is partly because DSA is also the most (& really only) trans political formation in the country
there are trans people, esp trans women, at all levels of leadership in DSA, don’t get that anywhere else
Replying to @PyrrhaF6
DSA is the most pro-trans political formation in the country, and it’s not close.
attitudes like this are only workable to the extent that you take it upon yourself to develop new members into organizers, which takes immense work and strong relationships. poli ed events and “membership standards” don’t build that.

The struggle for trans liberation, equality, and healthcare is a fundamental terrain for DSA. As Corporate Democrats abandon trans rights to chase "electability" and MAGA Republicans lead witchunts against trans existence itself, socialists continue the fight. 🌹🏳️⚧️

whenever I check out comic books there's something going on like the joker is big, and batman is small, commissioner Gordon is batman, there's three jokers now, batman became joker, Alfred died, joker pregnant, the scarecrow has turned into a monster, joker, batman died, joker
congratulations to the union workers of the Major League Baseball Players Association on winning the World Series for the seventieth year in a row

At election time I now have “We’re gonna vote vote vote it’s our moment” on loop in my head instead of “Oh my god I will vote.” I interpret this as a sign that nature is healing

I hope that this isn’t the last time we watch American baseball until April or May or June or or or but there’s no baseball without the players. Congrats to the Brewers and long live the union. Get what you’re owed for a lifetime of unpaid work, don’t break.

I am so proud to receive Philly DSA’s endorsement, the organization that has been my political and organizing home. The overwhelming support for my City Council At-Large Campaign has confirmed my belief that together, we can create the change we want to see in Philadelphia.

Yesterday, Israeli authorities barred 7 organizers from DSA from entering the occupied West Bank via Jordan. We remain committed to anti-Zionism while fighting for Palestinian liberation and an end to Israeli apartheid, occupation, and genocide.

A lot of ppl on here have a two-dimensional concept of political leverage, based purely on negative pressure. Leverage also comes from joining a coalition, making your group indispensable, building trust & problem-solving together, while pushing firmly.

I voted for this - Nithya is not a candidate that we currently have the power to move towards our positions. I voted against the alternative resolution for one reason: this clause in it brings us much closer to a split at a time when our org is at its strongest ⤵️

The resolution on potential expulsion (which passed 15-12) calls on Raman to meet with DSA-LA leaders by Nov. 30 to discuss her position on BDS.
If she does not affirm her support for BDS and sign on to DSA's campaign to stop weapons from being transferred to Israel through LAX by Jan. 1, then the NPC will begin a disciplinary process that could end in her expulsion from DSA. docs.google.com/document/d/1…
