Did you know this year’s U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree was harvested in Idaho?
I recently had the opportunity to visit the tree alongside the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest team and learn more about the care and selection process behind this stunning 76-foot tree.
I’m grateful to see Idaho’s natural beauty on display in our nation’s capital. Be on the lookout as the tree tours communities across Idaho on its journey to the U.S. Capitol!

Joined EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin today at the Highway 24 Mill Site here in the Springs.
A former mill site, the EPA and Colorado are testing for lead and other contaminants as part of a continued clean up of the site.
Great to see first hand how our state and federal agencies are working together to ensure the safety and health of our community.

Thank you, @POTUS! After more than 100 years as a monument, your signature officially created: Chiricahua National Park, giving Arizona our 4th national park.
Preserving our public lands for future generations is an invaluable inheritance to our children and grandchildren. I am incredibly proud to have introduced this bill to have our nation's 64th national park right here in AZ06, especially during our country's 250th! 🇺🇸

Great news for the Copper State. ⛏️
The University of Arizona is getting $1 million from a $16 million federal investment aimed at addressing a three-decade workforce shortage in the critical mineral field. The goal is to produce five times the number of mining program grads over the next two years. #News4Tucson

Alabama farmers and livestock producers impacted by Hurricane Isaias may be eligible for USDA disaster assistance to help recover losses and damage.
Programs can help cover livestock losses, damaged trees, feed costs, farm infrastructure, and more.
If your farm was impacted, contact your local USDA Service Center as soon as possible. Many programs have deadlines, including March 1, 2027, for certain 2026 livestock losses.

SHOW-ME RESULTS 🇺🇸
Rural communities shouldn't be left behind when it comes to quality healthcare!
I was proud to vote YES on the Improving Care in Rural America Reauthorization Act, which @HouseGOP passed to continue funding programs that support rural healthcare providers.
This means helping local providers deliver the care families depend on, right here in communities like MO-04. 🏥

I joined Lake Elsinore Mayor Bob Magee and other city officials this morning to tour the Lake Elsinore Water Quality Project. I worked together with the city to secure $8 million in Community Project Funding to support the project and expand the city’s substantial financial commitment to the Nanobubbler systems across the lake. The early phases of the projec have led to a cleaner, healthier lake, and I’m excited to work with the city to advance this important project.

Alaska is home to so many critical minerals and metals our nation needs for both national and economic security.
Mining creates good paying jobs, strengthens our supply chains, and provides confidence for communities throughout Alaska; and companies like Ambler Metals, Coeur, Felix Gold, Graphite One, Nova Minerals, U.S. Gold, Contango, Kinross, Hecla, Teck, North Star, and so many others are making sure Alaska will responsibly be able to deliver what our nation needs well into the future. That’s why I’m proud to support mining, refining, and manufacturing in Alaska.
Rebuilding our capacity to produce should be, and now is, a national priority. @AlaskaMiners

🌲A GIANT win for America’s Giant Sequoias
Thanks to @RepVinceFong’s leadership, the bipartisan #SaveOurSequoias Act passed the House earlier this year, delivering a win for common-sense forest management and ensuring these ancient trees stand tall for generations.

This morning, I spoke at the grand reopening of King Soopers here on Uintah Street in Colorado Springs.
The business supports Colorado ranchers and farmers by carrying CO-raised meats and locally grown produce - providing quality groceries in our neighborhood without having to travel far.
King Soopers has been a familiar and trusted name in the Pikes Peak Region for generations - congratulations to their team on the renovation and reopening!

Big milestone for the Tri-City region! 🎉🚧
Tri-City Regional Sanitary District (TRSD) celebrated Phase 1 of its new wastewater system — powered by a $23 million loan and $24 million grant from USDA Rural Development. This project will replace failing systems, protect local water, and bring modern infrastructure to more than 5,500 residents of Globe, Miami and Claypool.
Thanks to an additional USDA Rural Development grant, homeowners will connect at no cost, giving residents an important upgrade, allowing them to improve and ensure sanitary conditions for their homes.
More progress ahead as construction continues through 2028! 🌟🚧

The devastating flash flooding that struck southeast Missouri in July left families and businesses with unimaginable challenges.
That is why we are grateful to @POTUS and @fema for launching a new option to purchase a National Flood Insurance Program policy online through FloodSmart.gov.
As part of President Trump’s America First Resilience Strategy, this initiative empowers Missourians to take proactive steps to protect their families, homes, and livelihoods while making flood coverage more accessible to Americans nationwide.
Floods are the most common & costliest natural disaster in the U.S. Take steps to protect what you’ve worked hard to build. The National Flood Insurance Program’s new tool lets residents in participating communities get a quote & buy a policy in minutes.➡️fema.gov/press-release/20261…
