Look Who Is With Us on Day Two of Our Medical Camp...... The Professor. The Founder. The Researcher. The Clinician. But above all, a proud son of Nakaseke who has never forgotten where his story began. There is something truly beautiful about watching someone who has travelled the world, walked through some of the finest institutions, and achieved so much in medicine return home to serve the very people and community that shaped his childhood. For us, this is more than just another day at the medical camp. It is a special moment. Here is a man whose journey began in the humble villages of Nakaseke, a man who understands the struggles of our people because he has lived through some of them himself. Life has taken him far, education has opened many doors, and his work has touched lives beyond Uganda. Yet, through it all, Nakaseke has remained close to his heart. And today, he is right here among his people. Not just as a professor or a celebrated medical professional, but as one of their own, listening to their stories, attending to their health needs, sharing smiles, and offering the kind of care that comes straight from the heart. You can imagine what this means to the people of Nakaseke. The joy of seeing their own son return, not simply to visit, but to serve. The happiness of knowing that someone who has achieved so much still finds time to sit with them, listen to them, and care for them. Professor @rkalyes1 , you remind us that the greatest achievement in life is not simply how far we go, but how many people we lift along the way.
