We’re a new coalition of Hindus, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Yazidis, Druze and others whose Common Bond is our resistance against the oppression of jihadist extremists. We urge all good people to join the Resistance.

Thank you @CommonBondsALNC for this initiative to call the Nazi symbol Hakenkruz only and not Swastika because Swastika is not a hate symbol. Swastika is an auspicious symbol. In Sanskrit it means to be spiritually, emotionally and physically healthy. So how can it be a hate symbol?

The N*zi symbol is a Hakenkreuz (HAH-kuhn-kroyts), not a Swastika. The Swastika is a sacred symbol for Hindus, Buddhists and Jains. We should not allow it to be hijacked and desecrated by evil people any more than we would allow the ✝️ or ✡️ to be appropriated by evil people.

This is great analysis. France is a test case for what happens with unbridled socialism. This will happen to all those democracies that embrace the “free stuff” socialism in which 1/3 to 1/2 of the young and eligible people “are not working or not looking for work”. That type of socialism breeds anarchy and will bring down any capitalist economy due to burdensome taxation.
Premise: Incentives drive all human behavior. The corollary: How to destroy a country: A vast social security and support system that serves as a magnet for those who would rather not work. An open immigration policy that does not screen immigrants to determine their ability and willingness to provide for themselves and their families. An open immigration policy that does not screen for political and/or religious ideologies that are a threat to the country. Economic incentives large enough to incentivize immigrants on the state dole to have large numbers of children, but insufficient for educated and economically productive mothers to be able to quit to raise a family. The declining fertility of the most educated and productive women due to their delay to begin a family as a result of their desire and/or need to advance their careers, among other reasons, to live a life they deem consistent with their educational achievements and/or to repay their student debts. Amnesty programs that give citizenship and voting power to illegal immigrants without consideration of their economic productivity or their threat to the country due to their religious or political ideologies. The changing demographics and increased population due to the above factors. The state responding to protests by increasing social support. The continued failure to punish and hold accountable violent and looting rioters. Government managed by a massive and growing unelected bureaucracy. Government fraud, waste, and abuse contributed to ballooning budgets. Anti-business legislation that makes it difficult for businesses to compete in a global marketplace being disrupted by AI, including restrictions on firing even poorly performing employees. Overly burdensome, globally uncompetitive, corporate taxation. Continuous increases in personal taxes to raise funds to provide for the rapidly growing welfare state. The substantial majority of the tax burden levied on a small percentage of the population. A growing percentage of the electorate paying no taxes and receiving welfare. The introduction or threat of a wealth tax including the taxation of unrealized gains, i.e., taxes on paper wealth. The flight of the most productive business builders and highest taxpayers to lower tax countries with lesser security concerns. A growing percentage of the electorate voting for candidates that support increased welfare and laws favorable to, and/or that match the cultural and ideological needs and desires of a growing unproductive immigrant population. The rapid rise in anti-semitism and inadequate efforts to address this hatred. Increased borrowing by the state to fund the growing social burden. Higher sovereign interest rates due to all of the above. The resulting need to reduce expenditures to make the math work. Increasingly violent protests that make life less livable for the productive and law abiding citizens leading to their accelerated departure. And so on…

#WATCH | Israel | Israeli researcher based in Jerusalem, featured as a contributor in the book 'Hundred Years Young: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh', Yeshaya Rosenman says, "...I have friends in the RSS whom I met at events organised by the Israeli diplomatic team in India. They introduced me to other friends, and they realised that we shared an ideological alliance. We agreed on many different issues concerning world affairs. For me, it was an opportunity to be introduced to the real India and the grassroots of Indian society..."

Beautiful piece by Indian journalist @ratnadeeep_ on his visits—three years apart—to the kibbutzim destroyed on October 7. @CommonBondALNC
3 years after Oct 7, I returned to the kibbutzim I first visited in the immediate aftermath of the massacre. In my latest @JNS_org piece, I revisit Be’eri and Nir Oz to see what remains, what has been rebuilt, and what recovery looks like for communities living between memory, trauma and hope. Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci removing her chador during her tense 1979 interview with Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in Qom, Iran... In October 1979, Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci traveled to Qom, Iran, to interview the Islamic Revolution's supreme leader. To get inside the room, Fallaci was forced to cover herself from head to toe in a heavy black chador, leaving only her face visible. The conversation inside the room was tense from the very start. Fallaci did not hold back her questions. She pushed the Ayatollah on political executions, the sudden shutdown of independent newspapers, and the sharp loss of rights for Iranian women under the new regime. When she asked about the forced wearing of the veil, Khomeini dismissed her concerns and claimed the garment was meant to protect young and respectable women. He then added, "If you do not like the Islamic dress, you are not obliged to wear it." Fallaci took his words literally and replied, "Thank you, Mr. Imam. Since you tell me so, I am taking it off right now." With a quick move, she pulled the chador off her head, leaving her hair completely exposed right in front of the Supreme Leader. Khomeini was furious. He stood up without saying another word and walked out of the room. The room fell silent, and the interview was abruptly stopped. However, Fallaci refused to leave Iran until he returned a day later to finish the conversation. This confrontation became legendary in the history of journalism. It showed a reporter refusing to bow down to authority, even in one of the most dangerous settings imaginable. Fallaci proved that real journalism requires standing up to power, asking hard questions, and refusing to be silenced by fear or tradition. When journalists trade raw courage for easy access and comfortable silence, we lose one of our strongest shields against tyranny. In an era where true courage in reporting feels rare, her brave stand reminds us that honest journalism still has the power to light up the dark, giving a voice to the voiceless and inspiring future generations to speak truth without fear. #archaeohistories

No country suffered more in World War II than Poland. The country was in ruins and was divided after the invasion in 1939 between the Germans and the Soviets. I was in Zakopane, a remote city in southern Poland. Visited the local museum. The exhibit read: “During the World War II, terror and death raged in the Podhale region. Around 3,750 people from Zakopane, including most of the town’s Jews lost their lives.”

Heartbreaking visuals from Bangladesh where state sponsored persecution of its Hindu citizens meant a ailing 72 year old Hindu mother, spent her last days in agony pleading to see her imprisoned son one last time. Today, after Sandhya Rani Dhar passed, jailed monk Chinmoy Krishna Das was granted FIVE hours of parole for her funeral and a visit to his temple— before being sent back to prison. We have seen hardened criminals, guilty of brutal crimes get more compassion. A reminder - the Bangladesh state refused to let Das out to bid a final farewell to his mother after keeping him behind bars for close to two years for the "crime" of advocating for the beleaguered minorities of #Bangladesh. Das was refused bail one trumped up charge after another - including being accused of a murder that occurred AFTER he was already in custody. This is the level of persecution global media, #Humanrights groups and policy makers have turned a blind eye to, simply because the victims are Hindu. A slow genocide where Bangladeshi Hindus have declined from 22% of the population in 1951 to 8% today. #FreeChinmoyKrishnaDas #SaveBangladeshiHindus
Hindu Monk Chinmay Krishna Das Prabhu touched the feet of Radha-Krishna in Pundarik Dham temple of #Chattragram before being taken to jail yet again. He was given merely few hours of parole to see mortal remains of his mother for one last time.
