[01/12] Big Debt Cycle Endgame 🔥
This is the most important (and longest) thread you'll read in the next 10 years by me.
We're diving deep into the two questions that actually matter:
- Where the hell are we in the Big Debt Cycle and where is it headed?
- How do you actually position yourself for a Global Depression and rising Global Conflicts?

Copper/Gold ratio vs Ethereum $ETH
Both going into an expansion phase after a contraction of ~4.5 years, would not surprise me.

It's not the same thing.
TOTAL3ES = absolute market cap of everything except BTC + ETH + stables.
It’s a broad “how much are alts worth in dollars” chart. It still includes the bigger alts (SOL, BNB, XRP, etc.).
OTHERS/BTC/M2SL is different on three levels:
OTHERS → excludes the top 10, so it’s more focused on mid/small caps.
BTC → it’s a ratio, not an absolute number. It shows relative strength of those smaller alts vs Bitcoin.
M2SL → further adjusted for US money supply growth. It tells you whether the relative strength is real or just liquidity expansion.
TOTAL3ES is useful for the overall health of the pure altcoin market.
OTHERS/BTC/M2SL is better when you want to see if capital is actually rotating deeper down the risk curve relative to BTC and after adjusting for money printing.
They’re complementary, not interchangeable. In this specific context (looking at the later stages of the cycle and potential disbelief phase), the relative + liquidity-adjusted view is more informative than the absolute cap.

Be careful building a life that requires you to keep winning.
Every permanent expense you add to a temporary income makes it harder to walk away from a bad opportunity.
You can earn more and become less free.
The point of building wealth is to give yourself more choices. Including the choice to say, “I don’t need this.”

A big move is brewing.
Open Interest is at levels its only reached 4 times previously over the last 12 months.
Each time we get to this level, we get a bottom/flush/reversal.
Could get one both ways before the actual move.
But all of this is happening around the US midterm elections and some of the most bearish sentiment i have ever witnessed, not just in Crypto, but life in general.
Once the overhang of these elections is done, Bitcoin will continue on its path whichever way it was going to go anyway.
The sentiment is bearish. Fears of new lows are rising. Guys. The bear market is over. Chill. And be thankful for the opportunity to load up.
The sharp drop, that we may get is not bearish. Just like it was not in 2023. Even a crisis like Covid did not stop the bull market (yes, I know it was printed away).
The $BTC fractal has been followed for almost two months now. And by now you see it a lot on Crypto X.
As long as we do not break above the red S/R zone, $ 70-75k is not ruled out as a correction target. As I said before: Could be finished her and move on. Or correct deeper. None of this is bearish.
Simply have a look at the 1W $BTC chart to understand, why I do not consider any of this as bearish.
Btw.: Retesting the lower line of the rising channel next week, that we reclaimed in August, would brings us to almost exactly $75k.
As you can see in the past, dipping or wicking below the MA band is pretty normal.

Replying to @CryptoCycleGod
I took the fractal from 2023s bitcoin:native daily chart and overlayed it, scaled it on the vertical axis to fit the starting point at the bottom and the beginning of the rising channel.
Looks like pretty normal price action to me. And the next steep move in the second half of October would even fit seasonality.
Clear and nice visualization. I am working with the same cyclical framework and thus expect a bearish 2029.
My plan is simple: Ride the bull into Q3/4 2028. Sell everything. Wait for bottom somewhere around the end of 2029, whenever the charts show bottom structures and fully reinvest into the 2035 (or so) blow off top.
Shift everything in "safe" assets to secure capital for the 10 bad years. Use a part of it to short the markets.

In 2014 I went nearly a week without sleep. I was running PayPal and attackers were inside our corporate network. They'd compromised an eBay employee's laptop, got onto the VPN, taken over a domain controller and made themselves domain admins. eBay and PayPal were one company then, on one Windows network. They stole 145M eBay user records, then came for the segregated vault holding PayPal's card credentials. We fought them off. They never got in, but they got close. Too close.
Yesterday Binance lost ~$6.3B in what looks like the same way. A DevOps engineer's laptop, then a service inside the withdrawal stack, then withdrawals the signer approved because they came from a trusted source. Hot wallets emptied in under four hours. No key was stolen.
Nobody broke cryptography or a ledger. They found someone with access and used the trust that came with it. Banks get hit exactly the same way.
2016: attackers inside Bangladesh Bank used its own SWIFT access to send $951M of payment orders to the NY Fed. $81M was lost. The rest was held because an unrelated sanctions filter tripped on the word "Jupiter". That was luck, and it only worked because wires took days to settle.
June 2025: an IT employee at C&M Software, which connects Brazilian banks to Pix, sold his credentials for about $2,700. Attackers used them to send fake Pix transfers out of six institutions' reserve accounts at the central bank. ~$140M in under three hours.
August 2025: stolen vendor credentials at Sinqia, another Pix connector. ~R$710M out of HSBC and one other institution in a single afternoon. The central bank froze most of it, after it had already moved.
Same attack every time. Speed is what changed. When settlement took days, a filter, a correspondent bank or someone in ops could catch a bad payment. Pix, FedNow, SEPA Instant and blockchains settle in seconds. Payment security was mostly built for the slow world.
PayPal's card and user data survived 2014 because domain admin on the corp network couldn't unlock it quickly enough, and our alerting caught the unusual activity on the network. That's the model. Approval policy no laptop or vendor login can reach. Velocity and anomaly limits enforced outside the system that sends. Dynamic caps on what any one wallet, account or service can move per hour. All of it in real time.
About $3B of what left Binance has been frozen, almost all of it stablecoins. The $1.4B in bitcoin is sitting in 19 wallets and nobody can touch it. I don't think that's the problem. For decades the ability to reverse a wire or a card charge let a lot of weak security slide. You either stop the transfer before it's signed or you eat the loss.
Nothing about the technology failed here. The chains processed exactly the transactions they were handed. Binance's own systems handed them the wrong ones because an engineer's laptop was compromised. That's operational security. eBay in 2014, Bangladesh Bank and two Pix connectors all failed at it on their own rails.
In 2014 the attackers never reached the vault. If they had, the fraud losses would have been the small part. PayPal existed so people could pay without handing their card details to every merchant on the internet. We held those details so they didn't have to. Losing them would have broken the one thing the company was built on, and I'm not sure we would have recovered.
I expect blockchains and digital assets to become the standard way money moves. Every custodian of digital assets, or of fiat on a real-time rail, is in that position now. The controls have to adapt to settlement in seconds, crypto or not.

"Binance hack is provoking this nuk.."
Just shut the fuck up man.
"BTC still hasn't made a higher high so I'm still bearish"
Maybe you see this structure presented on X or YT, and it makes sense if you judge it logically, mathematically, but people forget the market is psychological
A higher high above May highs would actually not be bullish short term and would catch all of the guys waiting for confirmation into a bigger discount as they get their mathematical confirmation
And this is actually my main scenario for September atm. If this is happening, watch them flip flop again and becoming bearish because "it was just a fake out"
Take the highs, take the lows, roller coast everyone, then leave them behind. Again.

$BTC Bitcoin HTF Chart
The thesis and the personal conviction I'm leaning towards for Bitcoin, is that 2029 will be a corrective period.
However it remains to be seen, when and how high exactly it tops before that.
Of course the below illustrative path would be one of the best bull cases touching the projected Q99 Power Law quantile as late and as high as possible before Shmita starts. But there is no guarantee on that exact path.
You can make you own thesis, with your own probabilities, with all the data available and all the various thesis discussed and presented on this platform. That's the beauty of this platform.
