Are you sick of RNC text messages? They need to be adjusted in a legal proceeding. They spam text from different numbers multiple times a day. You tell them to stop and they text you from a different number. This abusive practice must end. Do three things 1 Text “stop” to 80810 2. Text “stop to 94646 3. Send this message to this email address (cut and paste the below message and add your phone number to the end): [email protected] I am exercising the express right under the RNC Mobile Messaging Terms and Conditions to opt out of the entire Program. I have already replied STOP to 80810 and 94646, and both programs confirmed that I was unsubscribed and would receive no further messages. I now revoke all consent to receive any calls, SMS, MMS, automated, autodialed, recurring, political, news, donation, affiliate, vendor, or other messages from the Republican National Committee, its affiliates, contractors, and service providers. Please suppress my number globally from the entire Program and confirm completion by email. My telephone number is: ———- If you get any political texts from the RNC after doing these three things - let me know by direct message for further evaluation. Do not delete any communications you send out or they send back.

THE THREE GROTESQUE MEN Virginia removed three statues from Capitol Square on Friday. The budget allocated $1.8 million for the job. State Senator Adam Ebbin, Democrat, who sponsored the bill, called the three men grotesque people. Let me concede the hard part first, because I always do. All three served the Confederacy. Jackson owned six human beings. Nothing that follows erases that and I am not going to pretend otherwise. Now let us meet the grotesque people. The first is Dr Hunter Holmes McGuire, a battlefield surgeon. He is the man who amputated Jackson's arm at Chancellorsville and sat with him until he died. After the war he founded the teaching hospital that became the Medical College of Virginia, pioneered surgical technique, and served as president of the American Medical Association. There is a VA hospital in Richmond named after him. It is treating American veterans today, roughly nine miles from the lawn Senator Ebbin just cleared. Grotesque. The second is Governor William Extra Billy Smith, twice Governor of Virginia. He earned the nickname before the war by running a mail coach line and billing the federal government for extra routes he had added himself, which is how a Virginia politician gets a nickname out of a congressional investigation into padded invoices. He was sixty six at Gettysburg. One of the oldest field officers in the war. Grotesque. And the third is Jackson, and here is the part Ebbin did not know. I would bet the mortgage on it. In 1855, in Lexington, Jackson started a Sunday school for Black children. Enslaved and free. He funded it himself and taught in it himself, every week, and it grew to roughly a hundred students. Virginia law after Nat Turner made assembling enslaved people for instruction legally dangerous. He did it anyway, for six years, and when the war took him away he sent money back to keep it running and wrote home asking how it was getting on. After he died, Black members of that Lexington congregation contributed to a memorial for him. Documented. In Virginia. While it was illegal. So the roster is a surgeon who ran the AMA, a governor famous for creative invoicing, and a general who taught an illegal Sunday school. You can decide none of them belong on the Capitol lawn. Reasonable people make that call. But Ebbin does not get to call three men grotesque and be unable to name one thing any of them did, and Virginia should not spend $1.8 million on the word of a legislator who could not pass a quiz on the subject. That is not contextualising history. That is erasing it. A statue with a plaque teaches. A patch of grass teaches nothing. Ebbin has been in that chamber since 2004. Twenty two years. Ask a Virginian in twenty years to name one thing he did. Then ask them who Stonewall Jackson really was. 🦋

My father died in Japan in February and I could not get back. I told exactly one American, and only because he asked a direct question at a bad moment and I have never been able to lie fast enough. He did not say he was sorry. He said, "You busy Saturday?" I was not busy Saturday. I have not been busy on a Saturday since I arrived in this country. He wanted help moving a riding mower to the other side of his garage. The mower runs. He drove it out himself. I want to be accurate here, because I have thought about it a great deal since: the mower ended that day about two feet from where it started. We were in the garage five hours. There was a small refrigerator out there with beer in it and one orange drink belonging to his grandson, and neither of us touched the orange drink at any point. We discussed a shelf. We discussed a bolt for some time. Around one o'clock we spent close to forty minutes on the correct way to coil a hose, and he was wrong, and I told him he was wrong, and he told me to prove it, and I proved it, and he said "huh," and that was the end of it. He did not mention my father once. I had prepared for it. In my country a man in mourning is approached with fixed phrases that have been in service four hundred years, which is the entire purpose of them, and I had built mine in English over three nights. They were not good. They were ready. I never used them. I still have them written down. At six he said, "Same time next week?" We did that for five Saturdays. We moved a workbench. We rewired a light that already worked. One Saturday we sorted screws by length, which is not a job. That is somewhere to put a man. In April a neighbor three doors down lost his mother. I do not own a mower. I own a boat trailer that does not need to be moved. He came at eight. He is coming again this Saturday. I have not said one word to him about his mother and I am not going to. He knows what time.

Demorcrat vs Republican used to be a fight of we trust government vs we trust business but we all trusted God. Now it’s we hate God and all western values vs we can only trust God and our western values. The choice is far more dire.

In fairness my siblings and I were all homeschooled and all we did was get full rides to college, write speeches for presidents, become senior admin officials and decorated war heroes while on the other hand Jennifer Welch has a podcast.

The World Cup has transformed the United States into the world’s most overwhelming Discovery Channel special. And the visitors are not coping. In the absolute best way possible. Here’s what they’re uncovering: Public restrooms you can actually use without paying. Water that shows up at the table for free. Unlimited refills on coffee, soda, and sweet tea. Chips and salsa arriving before you even ask. Warm bread served with dinner, no extra charge. Ice in every drink like it’s a basic human right. Air conditioning that’s standard everywhere—not a climate crime. Parking right next to the building you’re visiting. Drive-thrus that deliver food straight to your car. Ranch dressing available by the jug. Tex-Mex that defies description and demands to be experienced. Dentists who actually fix things. And Buc-ee’s… which simply breaks language. Then they discovered American grocery stores. Five colossal ones within a single mile, each the size of an airplane hangar. A single refrigerated aisle offering every cut of beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry known to humanity—at 10 a.m. on a random Tuesday. The Germans stood motionless in the meat section for nearly an hour. Silent. Rebooting. Suddenly, the lack of passenger trains makes perfect sense. Why bother with trains when the roads are wide enough for the vehicles we actually drive, parking lots stretch like small nations, and decent airports dot every city worth going to? The Germans are now smuggling ranch dressing home by the bottle. The Dutch tasted queso and temporarily forgot how to form sentences. The Japanese are documenting H-E-B like it’s the Sistine Chapel. The Czechs have been spotted openly weeping with joy in West, Texas. Welcome to America. 🇺🇸 The greatest country on Earth.

Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration. More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸

On January 6th I followed the crowd into the Capitol and shouted. Police stood by the whole time, hanging out with us and sometimes directing us places. At one point near the House Chambers I was walking downstairs when a trio of some special section, secret service looking men started pointing guns in my direction. Confused and annoyed, I walked the other way and when I saw a normal police officer asked him why they were doing that. He informed me a protestor (Ashli Babbit) had been killed, and advised me to leave the building. I walked towards the exit and after a short rest on the bench I left. I harmed nobody and damaged no property that day and complied with all police orders. What I received for that was a pre-dawn raid at my parents house, where my 1 month post-partum wife and I were staying, on Biden's first day in office. His DOJ had signed the order to arrest me 3 hours after his inauguration. In the subsequent weeks I received death threats online and harassing phone calls, something that would be ongoing for the next few years. I was banned from Meta and Paypal. My wife and I were both debanked by PNC and banned from Airbnb. My wife was detained at the airport for hours with our newborn daughter. I was charged with 4 misdemeanors and the 1512 unconstitutional felony. The government offered to drop the misdemeanors if I pled to the felony. The felony was a lie, so I refused and went to trial. At trial the prosecution for 2 days straight was allowed to show footage to the jury of things that occurred around the Capitol I wasn't present for "for context." When we asked to put forward footage that contradicted the prosecution's "context" we were not allowed. They could show what they wanted, we could not. Police officers were then put on the stand for the next 2 days who cried about their experiences. I had no idea who they were. They admitted they never saw me or interacted with me. Nevertheless like every other J6er, I lost, and was sentenced to 4 years and $22k in fines and restitution. Yet even after the Supreme Court overturned the felony, the judge would not let me out until my misdemeanor sentences of a year were maxed out. Because she can't count she actually kept me in longer - to the extent she intervened at the last minute to make the prison release me on a Sunday, something that is against BOP rules. My family sat outside the prison gates the Friday before practically the whole day waiting in vain because of this pettiness. But the government wasn't satisfied with their pound of flesh: after my release they took me back in for resentencing, to attempt to have me resentenced after the fact to my misdemeanors consecutively, so I'd be taken from my family again and have another 1.5 years behind bars. This time I won, as they had no legal precedent and it skirted on violating double jeopardy since I had served my full prison time. Even still, it cast a cloud over the holidays and cost me another 20k my family couldn't afford. People ask whether prison was bad, and yeah of course prison sucked. It was a hard and violent place. I was present for a stabbing, and was lucky to avoid two fights and a race war. But dealing with Biden's DOJ and the DC Judiciary was the real trauma - they would grind down your spirit by weaponizing the legal system and use the endless procedure to bankrupt you. I had nightmares for months after release that I had somehow been hit with new charges. By the time I was pardoned by President Trump, I had spent literally every single day of Biden's presidency either in prison or under some form of supervision. I had incurred over $300k in legal fees and over $1 million in lost business. It was a reign of terror, and yet it was a mere foreshadowing of what they had planned for anyone else who opposed them under Kamala. The country should never forget it.

There's a tell in political statements like this one. The structure is always: brief sympathy, then "but let's be clear," then the real insult. Either you want to attack her or you don't being in between is as weak as you can be politically and says more about Adam Schiff the person versus Adam Schiff the politician.
My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery. While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation. She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more. We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

Delegate Helmer has publicly threatened Justice Kelsey because of the redistricting amendment. This is the most extreme example of judicial intimidation I have ever seen from a sitting Virginia legislator. The equation is simple / rule against us = lose your job. If they make an example of a Supreme Court justice - every lower judge is on notice that if you stop democrats - you will be fired. This is the beginning of the end. Courts will be ATMs for the politics of the party In power. This can’t stand. The party of “democracy” is literally destroying judicial autonomy. This violates the separation of powers principles more than anything we have ever seen. Dan and his thugs in the General Assembly need to be sued. Just so happens I have some free time.
