Of the £431 billion projected benefits bill, 50% goes on State Pensions. 1/3rd of the rest goes to people in work.
Totally disgusting for the S*n to use the term ‘shirkers’ to attempt to divide people.

Before people in Scotland start rejoicing at the removal of standing charges, just remember
1 It's colder in Scotland, and we use more energy
2 The UK is one of the most expensive places for energy
Yet again, Scotland ends up paying more so that England pays less #Independence

That most folk in the UK have been conditioned to accept pronouncements such as these as inevitable and par for the course is an abomination. UK is awash with cash. It has simple, fair means to make more. Its problem is skewed spending priorities. Not lack of money.

Joani Reid took money from Gary Lubner and Trevor Chinn to finance her election campaign.

I'm so sick of the daily posts about people on welfare from the likes of @Helen_Whately @SuellaBraverman @KemiBadenoch when all it takes is a few clicks and you'll discover how much those above claim in expenses.
I'm scratching the surface here.

Scotland just delivered one of the most powerful clean-energy statements in modern history. On multiple occasions, the country’s wind turbines generated around 200% of national electricity demand, producing far more power than Scotland itself needed.
It can be done!!!

Who in the name of all things holy decided that it’s imperative that we “get the welfare bill down?
The UK welfare bill is projected at £360+ billion (around 10.7% to 11% of GDP), remaining lower as a proportion of national income than it was 15 years ago or during the 1980s.

Tomorrow, when you see the front pages of the right-wing press telling you how dreadful the budget was, remember their track record.
Also remember that right-wingers won’t ever be happy with any budget that doesn’t push down on those at the bottom to benefit those at the top.

I’m fed up of Westminster treating us like fools. £45 a year off gas but it’s being added on to unit prices Plus price rise in January adding potentially £200 a year. It’s a big con which Government think we can’t see.
