Nationwide German analysis of urachal cancer (2006-2022): 2593 cases; only 530 underwent surgery. Partial cystectomy in 413, radical cystectomy in 117. Despite its aggressive nature, the majority were treated with an organ-sparing approach.

Cada una de ellas ensanchó los espacios en el revestimiento intestinal, las mismas uniones estrechas que impiden que las bacterias, las endotoxinas y los alimentos no digeridos entren en el torrente sanguíneo.
Un estudio realizado con 286 pacientes que tomaban AINE a largo plazo reveló inflamación intestinal medible en hasta el 72% de ellos...

Una vez que se abre la barrera, las endotoxinas bacterianas (LPS) se filtran al torrente sanguíneo. El sistema inmunitario desencadena una respuesta inflamatoria leve. La señalización de la insulina se interrumpe. El cuerpo comienza a almacenar grasa visceral: la grasa profunda que rodea el hígado y los intestinos y que ningún ejercicio cardiovascular logra eliminar.
Primero se produjo el daño intestinal. Después vino la grasa abdominal.
La mayoría de las personas tratan la inflamación con más AINE. Lo cual aumenta la permeabilidad. Lo cual provoca más inflamación. El ciclo no se rompe por sí solo.
Hay que reconstruir la barrera...
