A day earlier, a drone struck a Yandex data center in the Ryazan region, which houses two of the company's three supercomputers used for artificial intelligence development. The strike reportedly sparked a fire and forced the facility to shut down. Yandex is still assessing the damage and remains uncertain whether the equipment can be restored. 📉 Yandex shares also took a hit. On October 8, the stock fell by as much as 3.4%, with reports of declines reaching 4.2% on October 9. The attacks have raised fresh concerns about the vulnerability of Russia's technology infrastructure.
