The top 1% earned 21% of the income and paid 38% of the income tax.
The bottom half earned 12% and paid 3%.
The top 10% carried 70% of the entire federal income tax. It can’t get any more progressive than this.
“Tax the rich” already happened. The rich are the tax base, and they still get told they don’t pay their fair share.
Which is why they’re now moving to expropriating wealth.

Socialized medicine never runs out of admins. It runs out of machines.
Canada has 432 MRI machines. Ten US states each have more.
The MRI wait time in Canada is ~4 months.

So, basically, imagine it's 1960 and Michigan is about to elect the son of Hitler's personal assistant as senator because after WWII we relocated hundreds of thousands of practicing Nazis to Dearborn.
I exaggerate only slightly.

Generations of Air Force Academy cadets have raised their right hand and said, SEND ME.
They answer the call to serve something greater than themselves—carrying forward a legacy in the profession of arms.

PETE HEGSETH JUST SHOWED UP AT THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY FOR EARLY MORNING PT WITH THE CADETS.
This is what leadership looks like when the man in charge is willing to sweat right next to the people he leads.
For years we had Pentagon bosses who cared more about pronouns and DEI training than push-ups and readiness.
Hegseth is out there before sunrise reminding our future officers that the military's job is to be strong, disciplined, and ready to win.
Our enemies are watching, and they should see exactly this kind of toughness at the top.
Bring back the warrior spirit, because America needs a military that fights, not one that apologizes!

I'm sure many of you are familiar with the famous Tweet below.
That Tweet serves to explain why Pete Hegseth is so despised by so many.
Under Obama and Biden, we were perilously close to our nation's military turning into an armed force whose primary purpose was to promote and advance the racist, sexist, xenophobic, bigoted policies of DEI.
DEI is just another form of Communism. It's a policy designed to fracture society along Frankfurt School lines of hate so that the Communists (a/k/a "Democrats") can achieve and maintain power.
Transforming America's most respected institution into yet another purveyor of race hatred was their ultimate goal--it would have resulted in total victory for their side.
We were THAT close to losing it all.
Then Trump got elected, appointed the right man to serve as Secretary of War, and ever since Hegseth has been taking a wrecking ball to their DEI fever dream.
Hegseth is the most important and consequential SecDef/War in any of our lifetimes.
I just explained why the insane hatred for Hegseth is so disturbingly deep and profound.
All I can say is this: God bless Pete Hegseth and the way he has saved our nation's military.

Just three years ago today. Would still be going on if Biden or Harris had won another term. (Yes, crossings dipped in the election year, but do you believe they would have stayed down? I don't.) Might well come again if a Democrat wins in 2028.
My phone just pinged me with an “on this day” memory from this day three years ago on 9/20/23.
We were in Eagle Pass, TX and witnessed a mass illegal crossing of more than 4,000 illegal aliens crossing in one single spot in just two hours, leading to CBP having to shut down the nearby international bridges & ports of entry.
@FoxNews was the only network there.
The only resistance offered was Texas military & DPS assets which had placed razor wire at the edge of the river, but the Biden Border Patrol cut through it and in one infamous case, even used heavy machinery to lift it out of the way so the illegal aliens could proceed into the U.S.
A complete free for all that day - and it would get even worse three months later in December 2023 when the illegal crossings reached the highest ever recorded in U.S. history with more than 11,000 in a single day.

That horrific Metro crash is Horvath's fault. The driver had multiple drug arrests, but never did time. This stupid communist has opposed every attempt to keep repeat criminals like this in JAIL. She opposed Prop 36 and wants to CLOSE prisons. The inmates run the asylum.

How long do We The People keep paying taxes?
Seven properties, a Mercedes G-Wagon, sneakers worn by Kobe Bryant and a Mickey Mantle rookie card worth $1.5 million. All of these things were bought with taxpayer money.
