The way Steve taught us to care about every detail, every experience, every person, still guides our work today. Forever grateful.

Meet Mistral Large 4, aka Le Chonk. • 1T parameters, natively multimodal. 49B active. It is the best open weights model from US or Europe on aggregated benchmarks. • State-of-the-art on critical workloads, including cyber defense, manufacturing and finance and it surpasses closed frontier models on visual grounding. • Forged in Europe end-to-end and is deployable from Europe via our own Mistral Cloud infrastructure. • Available to all via API today. Working with cybersecurity partners privately. Open weights release end of October.

I genuinely feel bad for all the people still starting their mornings manually driving, burning gas, sitting in traffic, and stressing over every stop-and-go. Bc this is how I start mine now. Fresh coffee in a Tesla cup in my hand. Starship, something inspiring on the dash. Tesla FSD handling the entire drive, while I stay attentive. And my Cybertruck connected the entire time... a Starlink Mini that's integrated to my Cyberbeast is pulling 169 Mbps down, 12 Mbps up, with 36 ms latency while driving. Bro... think about it for a sec... my car is driving autonomously on FSD, I’m drinking coffee and pouring more with both hands, I’m learning about the most important vehicle ever created by humans in the background, Starlink is giving me fast internet from space on the move, and I’m posting this reality on 𝕏 from the same seat for the world to see. Just a few years ago this would’ve sounded like some made-up future. Now it’s just my morning.

France now ranks third by country for frontier model intelligence, behind the US (Claude Opus 5.5 (max), 58) and China (MiMo-V2.6-Pro, 46)

We created gyms because modern day work no longer required physical activity. Without exercise, our muscles atrophy. I predict we’ll need gyms for our brains too, once AI starts doing our knowledge work.

New Balance slipped a Steve Jobs reference into its 992 product photos, recreating his iconic pose from the original iPad presentation in 2010. Such a cool little tribute.

One thing boomers absolutely got right was the hiring process. When someone showed up eager and willing to work, they just hired them on the spot with a firm handshake instead of making them go through 8 rounds of interviews

I've been saying it for years: FSD is the best luxury vehicle product in the world. People no longer care as much about $5000 seats. People no longer care about 0-60. People care less about the brand IMAGE and care much more about the car's capabilities. Once you use FSD consistently, you realize how much you don't like driving, and even more importantly, you realize how bad everyone is at driving. FSD is saving lives. Hard to hate on a technology that literally prevents one of the most common causes of death. Good on Jason for putting the PSA out there to his followers. Every Tesla sold (even without FSD) is a potential life saved.
A public service announcement.

For whatever it's worth, there is no other platform in the world where the CEO of the third largest company in the world personally responds to a request from his biggest competitor about listing on their platform. Competition aside, let's take a moment to appreciate what a special platform X is. I keep telling my friends this. X has the highest % of influential people actually running their own accounts. Trust me, this is actually Sundar typing on his Pixel, replying to Peter. What an amazing place.

Robotaxi operating hours moved from 10pm to 11pm. The main thing we’re trying to solve is making sure that we don’t run over pets when they’re hard to see at night. Literally trying to avoid grey kittens on grey tarmac in the dark.

For those not aware, NASA certified the Cybertruck as an Astronaut Emergency Egress Vehicle, allowing SpaceX to replace their aging MRAPs. If something goes wrong on the pad, the crew needs to get as far away as possible, as quickly as possible, and Cybertruck provides that speed and protection. A NASA spokesperson said that both the agency and SpaceX "assessed the capability of the vehicle for all situations that would be encountered in an emergency and found that the Cybertruck met NASA’s requirements."
