The heartbreaking effects of false accusations. No one can go forward without accountability to those that knew. They knew these accusations were false and the system was faulty. Fiona can never be brought back to Her family. There must be accountability.

youtube.com/shorts/Uci8I3IK2… Of all the conversations I had at the FACT conference in Birmingham, this one with Margaret Gardner left the biggest impression on me. Margaret founded FASO (False Allegations Support Organisation) in England and has spent around 25 years supporting people affected by false allegations and fighting for those who believe they have been failed by the justice system. 25 years. A quarter of a century Margaret has been listening to families, witnessing the devastation that false allegations and wrongful convictions cause, and challenging a system that continues to raise serious concerns. And here she is, 25 years later, still fighting. I have enormous respect for Margaret"s dedication, determination and resilience, but I also find it incredibly sad that, after all these years, this fight is still necessary. I recorded several wonderful interviews at the conference, which I'll be sharing in due course, but I wanted Margaret's story and the work of FASO to come first. #faso #FalseAccusations #humanrights #justice #marshasturgeon #jims #Scotland @FASO880221 @FACTukorg

Cant belive its been a year now! Remember how much havoc my reading at that lecture caused? Campaigns of lies, manipulation, harassment not only of me but other innocent people, countless media articles, tv & radio news... only for the UK Supreme Court to validate my concerns and then Abertay to conduct full-scale investigation concluding that my reading was more than appropriate for the lecture and course. Fight for truth and justice is never easy, but I will never give up 👊 #abertayuniversity #jims #Scotland #tbt #justice #falseaccusations

Agreed, you have to fight for it. And I think that happens because the people in charge of ensuring due process, have become people who prefer to use cliches and stereotypes instead of due process.

Witch hunts conducted instead of properly run investigations and trials. All accused should have anonymity up until trial has finished, along with total transparency in court, proper investigations of allegations and an end to monetary compensation in favour of therapy sessions.
This is going to be a v important judgment in relation to balancing the competing rights at stake. There is huge public interest in the freedom of the press to report multiple allegations of sexual misconduct by a public figure. theguardian.com/law/2026/oct…

False Allegations: False accusations don’t just ruin lives. They erode faith in justice and harm real victims. We need due process, not trial by accusation. @IFAD9S @Lyn9SA @KidsNeedDadsToo @FalseAccusedUK #FalseAllegations #DueProcess #JusticeForAll #GenderEqualityForMen

Doing a talk on miscarriages of justice tomorrow at Cardiff Met University looking forward to meeting new people and getting the message across there are still many locked up in prison for crimes they haven't done who need our help.

It's the practice of 'bundling and trawling', about which @franticworry and I have been writing about for a couple of years To help get convictions up, police and the CPS will work together to gather anything they can against an accused, however tenuous, in order to bolster the main charge. In Brand the tactic has been exposed, by the judge, and will be embarrassing for them The Supreme Court has found that Scottish courts - as exposed by @JIMSOfficial, the @ScotUnionEd and @GlasgowAdvocate, all worth a follow - have been abusing this tactic, under the auspices of the Moorov Doctrine: accused.scot/understanding-t… We need the Supreme Court to find similarly in English and Welsh courts
It's proves utter incompetence on such a serious issue. They don't even know the law if they can't even get the correct charges. Pathetic.

It's ridiculous isn't it? I am minded of the phrase 'if something is too good to be true, it generally is.' 'If something is too fantastic to be true it generally is' also applies. And yet some would try to have us believe that 'believe the victim' was never intended to be taken seriously. Yeah, right. Comments such as that from the Advocate Depute confirm that either lawyers have few working braincells or there is political motivation to secure convictions no matter the truth of the matter, and lawyers are complicit in that injustice. One can take one's pick, but lawyers don't come out of it well in either event.

Not a book I ever imagined I'd write & also one I wish wasn't needed. The proof copy of my book, The Accused's Guide to Court, arrives today, and I'm excited for it, but I do wish I'd written a book for a different reason.. Unfortunately, there's very little guidance available for falsely accused men facing trial in Scotland, or for their families, but I hope this book will help those currently awaiting trial understand what lies ahead, what to expect and how to prepare. If it helps even just one person or family feel a little less lost, it will have been worth it. #FalseAccusations #Scotland #justice #criminalcase #marshasturgeon #ScottishJustice #JusticeReform #humanrights

📷 AN IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT FOR JIMS: THE GOVERNMENT HAS RESPONDED — NOW WE SEEK THE NEXT ANSWERS📷 📷 Petition PE2265 — Review Scotland’s response to the UK Supreme Court judgment on fair trial rights in Scotland 📷 petitions.parliament.scot/pe… We are pleased to share an important development in the Justice for Innocent Men Scotland (JIMS) campaign. The Scottish Parliament’s SPICe research briefing was published on 13 October 2026, and the Scottish Government has submitted a written response to the issues raised by our petition. This is progress. Our concerns are receiving parliamentary attention, and we now have a clearer basis for seeking further answers. 📷 WHAT HAS THE GOVERNMENT SAID? The Government has outlined steps taken by the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC), including a dedicated review team, a supplementary application form for cases connected with the judgment, and funding for an additional legal officer. These are important developments. The next question is whether the arrangements are sufficient and what more may be needed. 📷 WHAT SHOULD JIMS HIGHLIGHT IN OUR RESPONSE? We are now considering the Government’s submission and want to hear from our supporters about the issues they believe should be highlighted in our response. In particular, we are seeking your views on: 📷 How many convictions might warrant further consideration. 📷 Whether SCCRC resources and review arrangements are sufficient. 📷 Whether clear guidance is available to potentially affected individuals. 📷 How progress will be monitored and reported. 📷 Whether the Government should commit to a wider review of Scotland’s response to the judgment. Are there other questions or concerns you believe JIMS should raise with the Government? The Supreme Court judgment did not automatically overturn previous convictions. Each case must be assessed on its individual circumstances. However, people deserve clarity about the implications of the judgment and the options available to them. 📷 THE CAMPAIGN CONTINUES The Government’s response is an important development, but it does not mean that the wider review requested by JIMS has been agreed to. Our focus now is on preparing a considered response to the Government’s submission, encouraging continued parliamentary scrutiny and seeking clear answers to the questions that remain. 📷 HAVE YOUR SAY What would you like to see JIMS highlight in our response to the Government’s submission? Should we focus on guidance for potentially affected individuals, resources for case reviews, greater transparency, the need for a wider review, or other concerns? Please share your thoughts in the comments. Your feedback can help inform the issues we raise as the campaign moves forward. 📷 Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared and supported our petition. One step forward. Important questions remain. Together, we continue to seek clarity and fair consideration. 📷 READ AND SUPPORT PE2265:

Nobody ever imagines they'll find themselves caught up in the criminal justice system. Until one day, everything changes. One allegation. One knock at the door. One phone call. And suddenly, life as you know it is turned upside down. Over the past couple of years, I've spoken to so many individuals and families going through exactly that. And as much as I want to help everyone, the volume of messages I receive has become impossible to keep up with alongside my daytime job, family commitments and the work I do for JIMS. So, after a lot of thought, I've decided to dedicate more time of my working week to do what I believe in - helping those who are looking for my support. Therefore, I'm really pleased to finally introduce my own wee project - Truth Be Told 🖤 My main focus will be on supporting people who have been accused of crimes they maintain they haven't committed, particularly those who haven't yet faced trial. I genuinely believe that getting the right support, understanding the process and being properly prepared before it's too late can make all the difference. I'm not a solicitor, and I certainly don't have all the answers. But I do have lived experience, practical knowledge, connections with people who can help, and a genuine desire to make this difficult journey a little less overwhelming for others. Also - social media is power, and I know what it can achieve, but I'd like to put more of my thoughts and experiences into writing, so I'm going to try sharing more through my website blog instead. Hope you enjoy reading as much as I do. This is a very personal new chapter for me, and something I've put a lot of heart into. I'd love for you to have a look at my website, and please share it with anyone who might need it. tbtscotland.co.uk/

What do you think X readers, is my 'little crusade to rehabilitate' myself 'nauseating'? @NeubergerLaw's @notonrecord podcast doesn't seem to think so: youtube.com/watch?v=eBFx_UyH… @EmpowerInnocent @FACTukorg @MashaSturg66599 @franticworry @mensrightsbunny @Aguirre115622
My opinion is that Ian Winter KC is a rape apologist, Russell brand deserves all that is coming to him, and your little crusade to rehabilitate yourself is nauseating.

📷📷 MONDAY MADNESS – JUSTICE FOR INNOCENT MEN 📷📷 📷 WHEN THE ACCUSER IS EXPOSED, WHO GIVES THE INNOCENT MAN HIS LIFE BACK? This is exactly why we need to talk about false allegations. According to reports, Jennifer Pritchard was jailed for 18 months following a malicious campaign against her ex-husband, police sergeant Steve Pritchard, falsely portraying him as a rapist and a baby killer. 📷 READ THE FULL STORY HERE: dailymail.com/.../ex-wife-fa…... 📷 Think about that for a moment. Imagine being publicly branded a monster. Imagine watching your reputation being destroyed. Imagine the impact on your family, your career, your mental health and the people who once trusted you. And imagine having to rebuild your life after someone deliberately tried to destroy it. A false allegation is not a harmless accusation. When someone knowingly fabricates a serious crime, the consequences can be devastating. 📷 JUSTICE MUST MEAN JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE. We must protect genuine victims and ensure they are heard and treated with compassion. But we must ALSO recognise men who are falsely accused, hold those who deliberately fabricate allegations accountable, and support the innocent people left picking up the pieces. One injustice must never be used to excuse another. 📷 A person's life should not be destroyed by a lie. 📷 Innocent men should not be left to suffer in silence. 📷 Accountability should not depend on who you are or what you accuse someone of. The question is: once the truth comes out, who helps the innocent man put his life back together? Justice doesn't end when the court case ends. For some people, that's when the battle to rebuild their lives really begins. 📷 MONDAY MADNESS QUESTION: Do you believe there is enough support for men who have been falsely accused — or are they too often forgotten once the headlines disappear? 📷 Let's have an honest conversation. 📷 Share this post. Give innocent men a voice. 📷 JUSTICE FOR INNOCENT MEN. JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE.
