Decency has no takers in India. Decency is not incentivised.
Rogue behaviour is normalised and actually celebrated.
Imagine if one morning algorithms, governments, the media, the Internet, said “we shall celebrate and decent people and help them monetise faster and shall make negative content invisible”?
Decent people have to bow their head and survive in a country that celebrates indecency.
Decent people are not allowed to have the courage to say “why are you throwing that plastic wrapper from the car?” Because the owner might flash a gun and kill you for it.
I can easily say “I will pay 1 lakh rupees to anyone who cuts the head of so and so” because I know that national TV will make me famous.
You can do maa-behen and normalise sexual violence or racial discrimination as a content creator and be celebrated for it and actually make it your living.
You could be a Manipuri singer (or any civilian) asking people to not drink outside your house — and be killed for it.
*Adding this from incident today* You could be a Kanpur trader objecting to people urinating on the road and be thrashed to death.
The Black Thar mindset world is out there owning the world.
If you are a decent hardworking person just bow your head, don’t look up and try to save yourself existence.
That is the summary of these commandments for decent people. Sad but true.
To be alive in India:
1) Even if you aren’t wrong, say sorry and move on. Don’t get into arguments on the road with anyone. Control your anger and move on. Nothing is worth risking your life over.
2) Live in a good gated community that matches your social wavelength. Not saying this because I’m in this business. It genuinely saves you from a lot of unnecessary problems.
3) Buy a car as soon as you can. Even if you’re a safe two wheeler rider, Indian roads can disappoint you and sometimes, the consequences can cost your family a lot.
4) Don’t drive fast just because the road is empty. You can control your driving. You can’t control the idiot coming from the opposite direction.
5) Don’t pick fights with strangers. You have no idea who they are, what they are capable of, or what they are carrying. Walk away.
6)If you’re travelling late at night, use the safest option available. Saving ₹500 is not worth putting yourself in a situation you can’t control. Skip night drives > 30 km post 11 PM as much as possible.
7)Avoid roadside food as much as possible. It may look tempting and harmless, but hygiene, water quality, oil quality and food storage are things you simply cannot control.
This is the reality and quality of the startups MeitY is promoting. They’re lying about data sovereignty too - I was able to access their full infrastructure and found sensitive court data being processed on production servers based in Japan.

Think your fruits and vegetables are clean? An FSSAI survey found pesticide residues in nearly 1 in 5 produce samples tested across India.
That’s why Pune scientist Dr. Asmita Prabhune spent years developing Sophab, a concentrated organic produce wash through Green Pyramid Biotech.
After countless experiments, Sophab was designed to remove up to 99% of pesticides, pathogens and chemical residues.
Just dilute, soak for 2–3 minutes, gently rub and rinse.
At ₹85 for 100 ml, could this make everyday produce cleaning easier?

Guess who :
“Born into a poor agricultural family in Beed in Maharashtra’s developmentally backlogged region of Marathwada, he grew up witnessing the consequences of the government’s failure to deliver on its welfare promises. Agricultural distress and debt were a permanent feature of his life. He worked on his family’s subsistence farm and sold vegetables alongside his parents at the weekly market.
He would wake up at 2 a.m. to water the crops by hand. Growing up in a mud-brick house, he saw his family’s dependence on monsoon and the impact of scarcity of water. He walked barefoot to his local Zilla Parishad school.
He says he watched his family carry burdens imposed by the system and it inspired him to enter the administrative services.
He decided to enter the system, not to belong to it, but to change it, he says.
With no coaching academy, no network, no family precedence in public service, Mr. Tukaram Mundhe cleared the UPSC exams in 2005 and ranked 20th nationally. He was allotted the home cadre of Maharashtra as IAS.”
