FBI New York’s Special Agent Bomb Technician program hosted a 40-hour Underwater Post Blast Course with support from CIRG’s Hazardous Devices Operations Section, New York’s Underwater Search and Evidence Recovery Team, and Operational Medicine Team. This course allowed public safety dive teams and bomb technician divers from all over the country to practice searching, locating, identifying, and rendering safe Underwater Hazardous Devices in a pre- and post-blast environment.
