Storm retrospective: Everybody got this storm wrong. But I declare myself the winner because I was the closest. If anyone has screen shots of what the weather network was predicting at those times, I'd love to see it.

Snow starting early morning and continuing all day. We will update tomorrow. Morning commute will be tough and return home will be even worse. Restrict non essential travel. Good news it will be warmer.

Both an Extreme Cold Warning (w/c to -35) AND a Winter Storm Warning (snow and wind) are in effect. I have been covering weather for over 30 years and have never seen the two warnings together. #ottnews #ottweather #ONStorm

Looks like we dodged a bullet, at least here in Ottawa. Snow Squall Warning still in effect, but I can't imagine it will be for long. Temp already sub zero and dropping =slippery. The next concern is the cold. High Fri only -14. W/c near -30. Bundle up.
