On CNN This Morning, we will dive into the history of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and how they may be connected to Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed. And stay with us for our exclusive interview with Daughters of the Confederacy President General.

Tonight on CNN
At 8, we ask why Abdul El-Sayed hasn’t condemned that person in your family you’re fighting with
Later at 9, our panel reads a list of terror groups Abdul has NOT condemned
Join us at 10 when we’ll analyze who will survive Abdul’s sharia courts, and who won’t

Please don't overreact to the Guard headlines
Governors activating their own Guard for election cybersecurity is old news, 15 states did in 2024. No sign it's been federalized
DOJ says FBI & ICE won't be stationed at polls

The Democratic Party is poised to send a Christian pastor, a Christian seminarian, a Jewish southerner, a Muslim doctor, and several Catholics to the United States Congress to win a commanding majority.
Only in America.

So who’s committing fraud?
A private prison in Minnesota was offered for sale for $75 million last year.
The Trump administration paid $495.6 million for the same facility.
That’s a difference of more than $420 million in taxpayer money.
And these are the people lecturing Minnesotans about fraud?
The hypocrisy is staggering.
Every accusation from Trump folks is starting to sound like a confession.

My state house district is over 30% hispanic/latino, had double digit increases turnout in the primary compared to 2022

I didn’t realize they turned out for Will (not very familiar with the demos in that district) interesting. I’d read stories on both!

There is real anxiety among the Jewish and Muslim communities. But national coverage of the Senate race is exacerbating that anxiety. This "two communities torn apart" narrative is good storytelling, but it's weak reporting. It's lazy. I can't wait for this election to end.

The disconnect between cable news & local media right now is bizarre. Most voters I've spoken with are pissed off about the cost of goods, the cost of gas, how they are struggling to get by. They feel like lawmakers in both parties have done little to improve their lives.

I spoke to Arab and Muslim advocates as well as Trump supporters about the Islamophobic campaign against Abdul El-Sayed.
Muslim Americans are not freaking out. They are disgusted but going about their lives and planning to respond in the ballot box.

Hispanic/Latino turnout in Michigan so far appears to be on pace with turnout in the 2024 presidential election.
That’s a story I’d like to read about. Such a shame that all of the mediocre stories about Michigan Dems’ niche factional spats are taking up so much of everyone’s time

Can jury lists actually be matched with voter rolls to find noncitizen voters? You probably saw this claim floating around online in the past few weeks. Well, I contacted voters caught in one of these comparisons from a local GOP, and couldn't confirm a single noncitizen voter.

I spoke to people across the Detroit Metro area and wrote about the Mike Rogers campaign's cynical attempt to drive a wedge between Arabs and African Americans for electoral gains

In the final week of the 2026 midterms, no media market will see more advertising money than Detroit.
The city and its surrounding areas are getting hit with nearly $60 million in ad spending this week alone — nearly twice as much as No. 2 on the list, Los Angeles at $32.5 million, and third, New York at about $31.4 million, according to @AdImpact_Pol data.
