Nevada claimed all voters on the DHS list were U.S. citizens. Wrong. It did not check and instead relied on voter attestations. Now, the Nevada U.S. Attorney’s office has started charging the individuals on the list.
States must comply with federal law. Allowing noncitizens to vote in federal elections is illegal and unconstitutional.

Ensure wwe are competitive on total funding but send the money where the student wants to attend AND that is able to achieve results.
Stop funding failing systems.
Fund students and not systems should apply to trade schools, community colleges, and universities as well.
Fund students, not systems.
Fund students who stay in Oklahoma, not those who leave.

Parents should choose where their kids go to school. Public, charter, private, faith-based or home. The money should follow the child.
That's not radical. That's common sense.

🛑 ICE Hunts Illegal Aliens Along Riverbank Outside Elmwood Jail 🛑
ICE agents are searching the riverbank outside Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas, California for illegal aliens who were released from the jail and ran. These are illegal aliens with criminal histories, and Santa Clara County let them walk instead of handing them to ICE.
Meltdown Maria is in tears on camera because ICE is trying to round up criminals and deport them. Not to protect victims. Not to protect her neighbors. To protect illegal aliens with records.
This was never about public safety for these people. It's about skin color and La Raza, criminal record or not.
Deport every single one of these illegal invaders, and to hell with the people fighting it.
If the county had honored the ICE detainer, would agents be combing a riverbank right now?

The US economy just grew 3.4%, the fastest in a year. So much for the slowdown.
Third-quarter GDP came in at 3.4% annualized, the strongest in a year. Consumer spending and business investment both ran hot, with business investment jumping double digits as the AI build-out poured into the numbers.
This is not an economy begging for rate cuts. Growth is accelerating, the consumer is spending, and capex is booming. The Fed wanted a reason to ease. The economy just took it off the table.
Stop the charade.
Tax all organizations the same.
NGOs, Nonprofits, Churches, etc… all of them.
Once all organizations are involved, the rate can be lowered.

So-called "non-profit" hospitals make more profit and deliver less community care than "for profit" ones. Yet we give them enormous tax benefits.
@BudgetHawks has been on this for a while - @scottahodge too.
Now @TaxFoundation has some policy solutions and estimates.
🏥 NEW: Tax Reform Options for Nonprofit Hospitals
About half of all U.S. hospitals are designated as “charitable” nonprofit institutions by the IRS, meaning that they are exempt from most taxes and are eligible to receive tax-deductible donations and issue tax-exempt bonds.
Although nonprofit hospitals are supposed to deliver “community benefits” in exchange for this tax-preferred status, our research shows they often fail to meaningfully do so. They do, however, impose a significant fiscal cost on the federal government despite being more profitable than actual for-profit hospitals.
Last week, @TaxFoundation released a report outlining options to reform the tax status of non-profit hospitals – building on several options we released in 2024. They estimate these options could generate from $5 to $225 billion in revenue over the next decade.

It would be absurd to bailout AI companies. Bad policy and horrible politics. I hope Republicans don’t let Democrats out maneuver them on this.

📈 What is driving inflation? CRFB President @MayaMacGuineas breaks down the affordability issue affecting millions of Americans on @smerconish's "Can We Agree?" by tracing the growth of federal borrowing – especially post-COVID – to the rise in inflation. She further adds that continued borrowing continues squeezing the budget and leaves little room to address the affordability challenges Americans face today ⤵️

More supply. Lower costs.

FHA remains the leading path for first-time homebuyers, and we’re strengthening it every day.
