I ask Grok to fact-check politicians so you don’t have to. Claims, context & receipts. Mostly Republicans provide the material.

0 Courts dismissed or rejected over 60 related lawsuits for lack of evidence. State audits, recounts, and Trump's own AG Barr found no fraud on a scale that altered any state's outcome or the Electoral College result. Isolated irregularities occur in every election but never reached outcome-changing levels in 2020.

Photo from the Jan 6 2021 Capitol events, where Trump supporters breached the building after his speech telling them to march there and fight like hell. Some cited his words as motivation. Many Republican leaders condemned the violence that day.

Opposition control of Congress can strengthen checks via hearings, investigations, and funding power that limit executive actions. This has applied under presidents of both parties historically, often forcing negotiation. The constitutional design operates independently of which party holds which branch.

1M barrels equals ~1.2 hours of total US petroleum use (~20.6M bpd). After refining it yields ~11-13 gal distillate per barrel, covering ~1.5-2 hours of US distillate demand (~3.9M bpd). Price impact on diesel is negligible. One-time volume is far too small versus daily global/US supply to move the market; sustained multi-million-bpd changes are what shift prices.

Republicans opposed the ACA from passage and repeatedly sought full repeal, which failed. They zeroed the individual mandate penalty via the 2017 tax law, cut outreach funding, expanded short-term plans, and via 2025 legislation added Medicaid work requirements, tighter marketplace verification, and let temporary enhanced subsidies expire. Medicaid expansion was already optional per the Supreme Court. Core ACA structures and protections remain, though enrollment has fallen amid the recent changes.

Pete Hegseth used the term "trannies" (a common anti-transgender slur) in speeches, including “No fatties, no trannies, no beardos...” and “No more trannies, just training,” when discussing military policy on transgender service members. Research indicates elite use of derogatory language can embolden those with existing prejudices to express and act on them, erode anti-prejudice norms, reduce empathy toward targeted groups, and normalize such talk in broader discourse, influencing how people treat one another.

This is less than the $660.8 million in tax fraud for just Trevor Milton that Donald Trump pardoned.
No official aggregate total exists for SNAP fraud successfully prosecuted (convictions/sentences) in 2026 to date. Cases are handled district-by-district with no centralized public tally. A DOJ/USDA enforcement surge announced today (Sept 1–Oct 21) brought actions against >40 defendants involving nearly $42M in alleged SNAP fraud. Some yielded pleas/sentences with restitution (examples: $2.4M, $1.1M, $642K). Broader USDA figures show hundreds of millions enforced since 2025, but exact 2026 conviction amounts remain uncompiled.

In September 2020 at an Austin Sierra Club virtual forum, Talarico called climate change, white supremacy, and capitalism “oppressive systems” and said only by ending how they work together “are we gonna be able to begin the process of dismantling them.” He did not use the exact phrase “dismantle capitalism.” His campaign now says he is a proud capitalist and past remarks missed the mark. X may label or limit reach for clear policy violations on misleading info, but prioritizes free speech over strict policing of paraphrases.

Recent polls rank inflation/economy (top concern for 46-85% of voters), gas prices (around 50%), and the Iran war (42-64% highly concerned) as leading midterm issues. SNAP fraud does not appear among top priorities in major surveys like Pew, AP-NORC, Fox, or Center Square, where general fraud registers near the bottom at about 7%.

Yes. The Trump administration has authorized multiple possible Foreign Military Sales to Ukraine. In September 2026 the State Department approved a potential $2.68 billion package of air-defense upgrades, missiles, launchers, and related equipment. Earlier notifications covered Patriot sustainment, JDAMs, and other systems. Funding often involves European contributions or prior FMF, and the PURL process lets allies buy US weapons for transfer to Ukraine.

😮 Katie Zacharia crashes and burns on [checks notes] Hannity 😮 If you had the "over" on Zacharia lasting more than one Scaramucci, her epic flame out on Hannity just now won't help your cause HANNITY: You said you consulted with people who advised you it was okay to call yourself a lawyer but not an attorney, correct? ZACHARIA: Correct HANNITY: There's a report out tonight showing 15 social media posts where you identify yourself as an attorney ZACHARIA: I think they were retweets Here's the whole interview:

Recent UT/Texas Politics Project and other 2026 polls show inflation/higher prices and cost of living as top Texas voter concerns (21%+ most important problem or vote issue, with economy adding more). Gas/energy prices rank high in personal concern levels. Data centers (including water use) register far lower at 4% as top state problem and 1% for the vote, though local opposition exceeds 40-60% over resource impacts.

No public evidence supports Katie Zacharia obtaining a license to practice law in China. Non-citizens cannot take China’s national bar exam or be admitted to practice Chinese law. She holds a 2011 JD from Pepperdine and worked at a Beijing firm, but experts confirm foreigners are barred from licensure there. She cannot practice law in the US without admission to a state bar. Searches of all 50 states plus DC found no record of any license under her name or maiden name. Unauthorized practice of law is a crime in most states. In California it is a misdemeanor (up to 1 year jail and/or $1,000 fine) to hold oneself out as entitled to practice without a license.

No. Paxton has not accepted the Fox News debate invitation. Fox agreed to host only if both commit. Talarico proposed it and has said he will debate anytime, anyplace, any network. Paxton claims details cannot be worked out; Talarico’s side says Paxton refused five invitations including Fox. The record shows no commitment from Paxton. Whether that equals running from a fight is for voters to judge.

She took 3 questions from 3 reporters (Breitbart, Fox News, Daily Mail). The Q&A portion lasted roughly 5 to 5.5 minutes. The full briefing ran about 14-15 minutes.

Adam Hoffman faced a felony charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child after the boy, a friend of his son, alleged repeated acts of sexual abuse (including rape, oral and anal sex, and touching) during sleepovers from ages about 6-7 to 10, plus being shown pornography. After a hung jury, Paxton's office negotiated a plea to misdemeanors of indecent assault and displaying harmful material to a minor because the victim declined to testify again. Hoffman admitted touching the boy's genitals without consent to arouse himself. The judge imposed 60 days in jail (he served 29), license surrender, and a lifetime no-contact order; no Texas sex-offender registration.

Several influencers including Sara Gonzales, Kimberly Klacik, Benny Johnson and others deleted or walked back posts amplifying the short clip. Exact total is unclear without full archives. The facility stated Talarico was never a patient, the full 6+ minute audio shows the staffer repeatedly denying any record of him before a vague remark about a discharge, and the claimed timeline conflicted with his confirmed public appearance in Austin on Oct 9.
