UEFN Dev | Map Creator
I’m always browsing for cool products to use in my maps — UI, Verse code, lighting systems, custom weapons, and more.
If you build interesting tools or assets for UEFN, feel free to share them with me. I might not purchase everything, but I’m happy to retweet great work for others in the community who might find it useful.
I’ve already bought a few products from creators I follow here on X, and I enjoy sharing cool things I discover.
There are some awesome people building in this space, and I’m always glad to support and highlight their craft.

Epic gave me early access to the 43.00 update to record this tutorial for you on the new quests system that leaves experimental today. I snuck in a little Health Pipeline too (damageable!). Enjoy!

UEFN v43.00 now has MCP for the sequencer, which is more than cinematics and I think is a big deal.
We all know that Sequencer can be used for camera movement and item movement, but remember we also have rig/character animations and also also UMG animations both in UI and in game! Now you can connect over MCP and have your chosen agent design up all kinds of things according to how you direct!
Speeding up tasks like these is invaluable and I'm definitely happy they got this in.

The fact that a single update can make your game completely unplayable (literally), making you lose Discover placement & then you're left alone with no closure when it's fixed a full day later as if it's fully your fault is bafflling.
We're about to enter YEAR FOUR of UEFN and this issue is still a thing & just as bad. Great.

It's not in v43.00's UEFN patch notes but you can make SCENE GRAPH WILDLIFE now if you enable the experimental setting!
Make them real big, change materials, attach VFX or sounds. It's all the scene graph features. You spawn them in by either placing them or spawning them as you would an normal scene graph entity through verse.

Less guessing. More debugging. 🐞
See how UEFN MCP can help you find what's slowing down your island, fix it, and verify the results.

4 years ago, I was just a digital artist with a dream of building my own game. Today, I'm actually living that dream thanks to UEFN.
I genuinely can't thank @TimSweeneyEpic and @FNCreate enough for giving creators like us the opportunity to turn our dreams into reality.
You're not just giving us tools to make games. You're giving people like me the chance to achieve things we once thought were impossible. Thank you! ❤️

Unfortunately, the review team behind @FNCreate does the same thing. They deny Fortnite maps for vague reasons. Developers resubmit, maps get approved, then months later face account bans over earlier denials that were approved by reviewers.
It’s hard to get review teams to be perfect in every field, including the Epic Games ecosystem.

FC Augsburg believes it's quite terrible to have 17 other Bundesliga clubs sitting on a bunch of the league's limited supply of points.

Dude, this whole thing started as a random late-night experiment, and somehow it's turning into one of the best systems I've ever built lol

You know things are looking bleak when even bad actors start investigating how broken Discover has become.
It's pretty telling when even those who've exploited every possible path to visibility are struggling now.
Well done, @FNCreate. You might have finally stopped the bad actors, but unfortunately, it seems legitimate creators are paying the price too.
There has to be a better way to combat abuse without making visibility nearly impossible for everyone.
I tracked every new Fortnite map that hit the NEW row from Aug 31 to Oct 23. (20,000+ maps, hour by hour.)
How a launch goes: → ~40 minutes in NEW → players spike, then leave → 1 in 4 maps lands in a genre row ~2 hours after the spike, when most of the players are already gone → genre rows sort by live players, so it drops out again within hours
Epic's own docs say: "Islands that perform well graduate from the testing pipeline."
So I checked.
I took the new maps that performed well by Epic's own stats: top 25% for playtime, favorites and recommendations, launched with 100+ players, no Sponsored. 167 maps. All of them dead within a week.
Good engagement does help early. New maps in the top 25% for playtime, favorites and recommendations kept their players to day 3 more often. By day 7 that edge is gone.
Discover doesn't graduate new maps. It sorts the ones that already have players. @FNCreate @HaroldAtEpic
There is so much more I can say which makes things even worse.
