If you’re a parent the number one thing you can instill in your child is entrepreneurship. The way many of your parents taught you to move in the world is no longer valid. The job is not promised. There isn’t even “job” anymore. There’s money. And you must make it. Creatively. Using the infinite new tools that are available to you. We’re not in the time where people will be taken care of their entire lives with safe and secure employment. You must move fast, be creative, pivot, carve your life for yourself. You do not need a degree, especially not a nonsense degree, you do not need to go in debt for school, these are procrastinations avoiding what we said earlier. You must be entrepreneurial. You can be a kid in your parents house becoming a millionaire off of Roblox with a little agency and using AI tools while a college grad cries because nobody is giving them a job. Nobody is giving you anything. They don’t need to. It’s not charity. YOU must be the one to use these tools to carve your life. Parents it is your job to teach them this and set them up for success. It’s a new world and you mist adjust all behaviors accordingly.
This is such a bleak story about what it's like to try to land a job right now. nytimes.com/interactive/2026…

There’s an absolute shitload of happenings happening atm. Here’s what we KNOW: 1. We are going to hit Iranian civilian infrastructure HARD and cripple the whole country. They of course know this and have retaliation plans in place. 2. Whatever their retaliation is WILL affect conditions for average Americans, in addition to sending energy prices to the moon. 3. Something is happening globally with AI, with hacks reported seemingly everywhere. 4. The financial markets are giving out, the AI bubble is in the popping process. Speculating on the exact nature of what is coming for the average American doesn’t really matter. What matters is determining your level of exposure. Ask yourself: Can I heat my home? Keep my family fed? Do I have clean water? Can I generate electricity? And for how long? We are a long ways off from “bullets for beans”, but likely on the doorstep of “shortages and uncertainty”. So take a day (in the next 72 hours) and do nothing but address those issues. Get your shit together men, welcome to the hard times.

Reese's Pieces have no chocolate in them. The peanuts had their oil pressed out and a cheaper fat put back in. Sugar is first, then partially defatted peanuts, then hydrogenated palm kernel and soybean oil, then corn syrup solids. Everything after that is 2% or less, and it's the dyes, the glaze, some vanillin and a little milk. There's no cocoa anywhere. Partially defatted just means the peanuts went through a press. The peanut oil comes out one side and gets sold as peanut oil. What's left is a dry peanut flour, and that's what the center is made from, because flour holds a shape in a panning drum and doesn't go rancid. Then they put fat back in, and the fat they picked is hydrogenated palm kernel oil, which is solid at room temperature and costs less than peanut oil. You can see the swap on the panel. 38 pieces have 6 g of fat and all 6 are saturated. Peanut oil is mostly unsaturated, so that number isn't the peanut. The shell is sugar with 4 dyes and a coat of shellac.

There was once a shepherd who found a wolf caught in a snare at the edge of his pasture. The wolf begged to be freed. “I was hungry,” it said. “That is all. Spare me, and I will remember your mercy!” The shepherd cut the rope. The next night, three lambs were gone. Again the shepherd found the wolf. Again it pleaded. Again the shepherd convinced himself that mercy was proof of his goodness. By winter, half the flock was dead. An old farmer finally asked him, “Why do you keep freeing it?” The shepherd answered, “Because I refuse to become cruel.” The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.” That’s the lesson. Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.

Ten years ago today, I sat at a conference table finalizing the sale of my company. We had just wrapped up a 30 day transition period: transferring vendor lines, signing over leases, settling outstanding payables; all the grueling operational details that come with a small business acquisition. My CPA and lawyer sat beside me. Their counterparts sat across from us. Then came the moment: a check slid across the table. It was the largest amount of money I had ever seen in my life. Over a decade of work culminated in that single piece of paper. It represented 7 day workweeks and bell to bell shifts. Sleepless nights during the financial crisis. Countless hours pacing the floor, brainstorming solutions to every minor and major disaster that hits a growing business. It represented the thrill of huge wins and the crushing weight of hard losses. The months of celebration when business was booming, and the lean times spent writing hundreds of paychecks to everyone but myself. It was the arguments with bankers when we needed capital, and the courting from those same bankers when we succeeded. It was dealing with insurance claims from theft and vandalism and natural causes. It was watching with a smile as our team enjoyed the annual Christmas party and opened their year end bonuses. It was having to deliver bad news - like health insurance premiums skyrocketing under the now implemented "Affordable" Care Act - and then delivering the good news that the company was going to cover nearly all of the price hike out of its own pocket (even if we had no power over the now higher deductibles). It was watching employees buy their first homes, get married, and start families on the back of something we all built from scratch. And it was the quiet tears when our best laid plans fell apart. That is the life of a real entrepreneur. That is what it means to actually contribute to the economy and create real jobs. Thirty minutes later, the attorneys left. It was just me and my CPA, making final tax preparations. He swung his laptop around to show me the final ledger. I looked at the number. Nearly half of that record breaking check wasn't going to a church, a charity, or the family of an employee we had lost. It wasn't going to support team members welcoming new children into the world, or to any cause of measure or merit. It was going to a cold government. A government I had watched launch forever wars built on lies. A government that bailed out Wall Street while local creditors slashed my credit lines - even though we had never missed a single payment. A government that repeatedly tried to crush my industry with regulations written by massive corporations to keep small, independent operators from climbing the ladder to the tops of the towers they occupied and planned on occupying alone. That government never offered me advice. It never hired an employee. It never took a call on vacation because a store got broken into. It never had to sit at a little brother's graduation and answer a phone to hear that an employee had just been killed in a tragic accident. Nearly half. Taken. Gone. Income taxes are immoral. They also... happen to be the worst way to fund any government... if you want it ACTUALLY answerable to "we the people". In Liberty, -Michael

90 DAYS WITHOUT POWER, RANKED You are not leaving. The roof is fine. The grid is just gone. No power, no water pressure, no store deliveries, for 90 days. In each category we will go from most important to least important. The categories are ranked too. The roof is covered, so water comes first, then food, then everything that keeps those two usable. 90 days is what you should be prepared for. Most official lists say 3 to 14 days. Those are minimums, not plans. WATER Without it you have days. One gallon per person per day. 90 days is 90 gallons per person. A family of 4 needs 360. Water filter (a gravity filter is the best buy) Food grade barrels or water bricks Unscented bleach to treat stored water Your water heater tank holds 40 to 50 gallons. Know how to drain it. Rain collection (check local rules) FOOD Rice and beans are the backbone. If you cannot afford freeze dried meals, load up on rice and beans. Rice has about 1,650 calories per pound. Dry beans about 1,570. 2,000 calories a day for 90 days is about 110 pounds per person, or four 5 gallon buckets. Cooking oil, salt, sugar, spices Peanut butter Canned meat and vegetables Powdered milk Multivitamins Freeze dried meals if you can afford them Eat the fridge first, then the freezer, then the pantry. COOKING AND FUEL Food you cannot cook is just weight. Camp stove plus fuel for 90 days Extra propane or butane Lighters and matches One pot with a lid Never run a stove or heater indoors without ventilation. HEAT Cold is the quiet killer. Wood stove or a safe indoor rated heater Fuel for it Wool blankets and sleeping bags rated below your coldest night Pick one room, close it off, and live in it Carbon monoxide detector with batteries. Not optional. SANITATION This is what ends up killing people in long outages. 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat lid Heavy trash bags Kitty litter or sawdust Bleach Soap and hand sanitizer Toilet paper, a lot of it MEDICAL Prescriptions. Ask your doctor about a longer supply. First aid kit Pain and stomach relief Any glasses or contacts, plus a spare pair A printed first aid manual LIGHT AND POWER Headlamps and lanterns Batteries, rotated Solar panel with a power bank A generator is a bonus, not a plan. Fuel goes bad and it is loud. INFORMATION, CASH AND NEIGHBORS Cards stop working when the power does. Battery or crank radio Cash in small bills, silver and gold if you have it Paper copies of IDs and contacts Know your neighbors. Trade skills, not just supplies. MORALE Books, cards, games, something for the kids. Boring beats hungry. Bored beats panicked. THE FIRST 72 HOURS Fill the bathtub and every container you own before the water stops. Fridge and freezer stay shut. A full freezer holds about 48 hours. Charge everything while you still can. Cook and eat what will spoil first. Obviously we could add security and it is important but depending on where you are, what your aloud to have/own I'm not going into great detail on that. What I can say is have a plan, talk it over with your family, everyone has a job. Don't be afraid to talk to your neighbors you know as well to make sure they are doing their part if you plan on working together. Feel free to add anything I may have missed. Anything you may think would be of added value for others to read and share. Book mark this, come back to it, create a check list. To be clear, I am not a survivalist. This is not survival advice. This is only my setup that I am following with my family. If nothing else maybe just a reminder. ISO Ledger 🛡

Before the internet and smartphones, people really thought some humans were ignorant just because they lacked knowledge. Now they have the collective knowledge of all humanity in the palm of their hand, and most are still retarded.

TRUE. Some liberation photos (e.g. Dachau crematorium demos by survivors, certain Auschwitz child images from Soviet film) were reenacted post-event for documentation. They have appeared in textbooks and educational materials as authentic, often without captions noting the reenactment.

Claude Code just found proof that every app on your phone is listening to your conversations. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat. they're using what you say out loud to build your feed. i have the data to prove it. i've suspected this for months but last week something happened that made me finally check. i was on a call with my friend and told him i'm thinking about breaking up with my girlfriend. didn't text it. didn't search it. just said it out loud with my phone on the table. two hours later she opens TikTok next to me and her entire feed is breakups. "signs your relationship is over." "how to heal after a breakup." she looked at me and said "why is TikTok showing me this." i said i don't know. but i did know. i connected my iPhone to my MacBook and ran Claude Code that same night. it scanned every app's background microphone activity for the last 90 days. not just the apps that asked for microphone permission. apps that were supposed to only have access to photos or location but were activating the microphone anyway. what it found: → TikTok activated the microphone 347 times while the app was "closed" in the background → Instagram → 211 background activations → Facebook → 189 → Snapchat → 94 every activation lasted between 3 and 15 seconds. enough to catch a sentence. every one of them tagged a keyword and cached it locally on the phone with a timestamp. Claude Code pulled the full keyword cache: → "breakup" — tagged 4 hours before her feed changed → "moving out" — from a conversation with my mom last Tuesday → "wedding venue" — from a call with my sister about her engagement that i never searched once → "protein powder" — said it out loud to my roommate, had ads for it within an hour → "flight to tokyo" — mentioned it at dinner, saw travel ads the same night those keywords were sitting in a local cache on my phone organized by app with timestamps. TikTok had the most entries. Instagram was second. every single keyword matched a conversation i had out loud near my phone. the scariest one was "wedding venue." my sister told me she's getting engaged on a private call. i never searched it. never typed it. within a day my explore page had engagement rings and venue tours. then Claude Code checked a second phone in the same room. my girlfriend's. same keywords. same timestamps. both phones were picking up the same conversation and tagging it independently. i asked Claude Code how to shut it down. it mapped every app's microphone access and built a permission audit. what i did: → revoked microphone access from every app that doesn't need it to function → disabled background app refresh for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat → turned off "Hey Siri" which keeps the microphone in passive listening mode 24/7 → revoked "nearby interaction" permission which uses ultrasonic audio between devices Claude Code confirmed all four apps lost background microphone access after the changes. i checked her phone too. same steps. took about 3 minutes per phone. within 48 hours both our feeds went completely random. generic content. nothing personal. nothing from our conversations. that's when i knew for sure it was real. the full step by step and the prompt are in the first reply. takes 3 minutes. save it so you don't lose it and send it to anyone who's ever said "my phone is definitely listening to me." it is. now you can prove it and shut it down.

This neoliberal conservatism isn’t conservative at all. They’re just race communists masquerading as conservatives, purportedly to gatekeep the conservative movement from drifting into ethno nationalist lenses. They sincerely believe that “freedom” is a catchall for people who want to smoke weed and be able to post heckin wholesomes on Instagram while rooting for your favorite sportsball team. They’ll cite “founding documents” and “foundational beliefs” right up until it vindicates the racially conscious faction of white america attempting to assert its rightful claim to national inheritance. The moment you suggest that your nation has an ethnic heritage (which implies national inheritance) these people become indistinguishable from even the most vapid leftist. You Joel berry, James Lindsay’s and insurrection Barbie’s are the core of this belief system. They think you’re “woke” if you imply that our founders meant white people if you interpret “freedom white men of good character” in racial terms. If you pressure them enough, they admit they actually don’t align with the founders at all, and seek to preserve the post WW2 dispensationalism that has degraded and diluted our nations to their current dysfunctional state. They will happily cram their own foreign ideology into the mouths of the founders to accomplish this, and rebuke anyone who challenges them on it as “unamerican” as if they are the arbiter of what it means to be American. Ironically, all of these people vehemently support Israels lowercase ethnonationalist agenda and seem to understand just fine that jews are the heirs to the state and that without them, Israel would not be Israel. A complete coincidence I’m sure and not a coordinated and traceable ideology scheme. Blood and soil nationalism is apparently off the table for America and an untenable abstract that should never be considered despite our founders being explicit, but a central core of Israel.
A group of white guys have subtly inserted themselves into conservative institutions and church organizations. They all embrace racial grievances. To varying degrees, they embrace white nationalism, antisemitism, and even Nazi sympathies. They are getting added to conservative institutional boards, attempting to purge churches, and are desperate to indoctrinate young conservatives into fascist ideology. They even surround the Vice President of the United States. Some of them believe the United States is at a tipping point, and they want to push it over the edge and rebuild it in their image. You might think it does not affect you, but, in time, you will see their efforts in your church pews, in your kids’ brains, and in your politicians’ mouths. It begins with shampoo. ewerickson.substack.com/p/th…
