GoFundMe Update 9/16/26: I have been fighting another round of COVID since August 22nd. I've taken 4 boxes of Paxlovid so far, and may have to purchase more if my supply runs out. Leading up to this, I was taking rifampin as treatment for bartonella. I can't seem to make it through 90 days of this drug without catching COVID. My only alternative is Q-Restrain for bartonella like I did for Lyme, but the 2 treatments and tests would cost around $5000. I'm facing another home mold remediation as well. Repairs were done on 2 cracked and leaking sewage drain pipes at my home this summer. The pipes leaked into my 1st floor walls and basement for months til the cause was found. Mold dust ERMI, PCR, and mycotoxin samples (around $900) for testing are processing now. Depending on the species detected, I may have to take further steps to mitigate. My insurance might cover part, but not all, of a 2 floor mold remediation. The company I worked with in 2020 did good work, but they were thousands of dollars more expensive than what insurance allowed. My body's ochratoxin levels are high, which leads me to believe my health is being impacted by mold in my home. Any donation amount helps because my medical expenses exceed my income, and sharing this post helps too. 💜🙏 gofundme.com/f/help-amy-heal…

This year for Halloween I am the RBD of sars2 that I now know is in my t cells. I wish I didn't also know it was identical to TAT genomically and functionally. But it explains a fucking lot.

I have never, in all my medical career, seen so many of my patients decide NOT to get health insurance as I have this year-because it has become TOO expensive. That is because Trump Admin revoked subsidies. They are making billions. My pts are facing medical bankruptcy.

A 2021 report warned the system would collapse if even a few million Americans were disabled by Covid. Both Sides ignored it all. We haven’t had data since 2022. We don’t count the people Covid has disabled. There is no assistance for them. This is going to collapse our society, & there is no help coming. We tried to warn you.
Covid constitutes the largest mass disabling event in the United States since the Americans with Disabilities Act became law in 1990. Now, the Trump administration’s anti-worker and anti-disability turn has created a climate of fear and difficulty around Long Covid accommodations. motherjones.com/politics/202…

I'm feeling this Patrick Stewart quote today. I was born with genes that cause APS1, celiac, hemochromatosis, and CVID. The best made plans still fail when your body works against you. My brother, who is an engineer, thinks if he plans properly, he will be fine. He blames my need for assistance on lack of planning and effort. Called me entitled. But I planned and saved, same as him, until my arm injury, autoimmunity, tick bites, and COVID infections one by one derailed my plans and exhausted my savings. Maybe his plans will work out and he will be fine, but perhaps they will not. There is no reason to expect a certain positive outcome- that's a truly entitled mindset. Life does not owe you anything due to your planning. It is vicious and random in who it rewards and ravages. It was merely genetic chance that gave my brother and I dramatically different stories.

I compare to my brother as an example here. There is no one more similar to me genetically and by upbringing, as close to equal opportunity as one gets. He planned and has gotten what he wanted, so he thinks he deserves it. I planned and life threw punch after punch, in a manner that could not be anticipated and compensated for. Usually I get along with my brother, so this conversation was particularly heartbreaking. I also expressed my frustration about catching COVID at the family reunion and mentioned being too embarrassed to try eye protection, yet needing it. Instead of encouraging me to participate however I could safely, he said you're right, we wouldn't accept that. He's totally failing at empathy. If I can't be accepted while wearing adequate protection, my alternatives are to get sick or not attend family events. Is it familiarity or privilege that breeds contempt? 😞

When you register for RECOVER TLC's workshop, you can give NIH trial feedback and suggestions... Even if you don't attend in person or virtually, they need to hear from patients.
Last day to register for next week’s NIH RECOVER-TLC workshop! 🧬🦠🔬 Attend November 4-5 in Bethesda or virtually as researchers, clinicians, and patients work to move Long COVID treatments forward. Hope to see you there! fnih.org/our-programs/recove…

Seven months after this nightmare began.... with knowledge that the "third party" instigated it all and then pretended to be the hero.... My sister's false charges against me were dismissed this past week. I am in survival mode now - beat down, run down, health in the toilet and winter is fast approaching. All I can do is try to hunker down and survive until spring before I can work on escaping this hell hole. And hope my health has a chance to recover in the meantime. The pharmacy made an error in my favor though - I have THREE BOTTLES of my primary medication despite their receipt only showing one. Well two, because I passed one to a friend on the same antiviral that's been without for weeks. Because THAT IS WHAT YOU DO AND I DON'T CARE. And the asshole that assaulted me in September is 50 miles away in another city now. So I might be able to finally get to some relative safety and stability again. But the lack of donations due to my lack of time to be on here, has resulted in maxximg out loans and cash on hand is almost completely gone. So I don't know what I'll do next. Best case scenario, when I establish a camp, I will critically need a camp stove and propane and more than just 2 track suits for winter clothing. And I am also still going to have to dick with court to get restraining orders against Kristen, John, Traci, Robert, and Lucas as well as most likely my parents if the harassment continues. Its been a long year. Its going to still BE a long year. I just want to see my toadies in the spring. If you can give $10 right now it will help me live to do that. gofundme.com/covaids26 ko-fi.com/froglet80 venmo/paypal/cashapp froglet80

I went in to the medical center this morning to do cortisol testing. I usually come in the afternoon to avoid the crowd. Never have I heard so many people coughing! Even the lab tech was hoarse. I'm very thankful, after another exposure, that I'm taking Paxlovid now. I was debating whether to stop after 5 days, which would have been today, or continue on 10 days after the positive test. To be safe, I will continue. Thanks to the friends in the LC community who made this treatment and protection possible. Without you, I'd probably be starting another round of COVID today. 🩵🙏

This is a key takeaway. We have a small group of techno-oligarchs who use their wealth, data, and algorithms they control to influence political processes at a global scale in a purely extractive manner.
Lula victory speech: "We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. We cannot have monstrously huge corporations earning millions & billions, paying no taxes to this country & trying to steer this country's election results."

If you want to know why Americans from all sides of the political spectrum must push back on data centers, look no further than what Google just did to Finland. Google skipped required environmental assessments and illegally clear-cut 815 acres of pristine forest. Over 250,000 mature old growth trees were cut down. Habitats destroyed. Wildlife run out of the area, and into nearby villages searching for food. Worst of all, because the entire operation was illegal, the wood from the site cannot be sold or processed. So 800 acres of old growth forests destroyed needlessly in just months, for one Google data center. Donald Trump criticized Google for the project, not because of its destruction, but because he wanted the data center built here in America. This is the future of our beautiful forests, national parks, and public lands in rural communities all across America, if we allow this administration to continue with this lawless destruction. VOTE. 🗳️

Mourning days practically have to be scheduled in chronic illness. I let loose and let myself cry in waves on Thursday and Friday, and I'm still feeling it today. Had to take the weekend off to recover from normal emotional release.
Sometimes I want to cry and yell and grieve the loss of my health but my body doesn’t even allow that 🥹

I've been sick for 2 months with ongoing COVID, my antivirals may no longer work, I worked myself to exhaustion 2 weeks ago and haven't recovered, and I discovered I was being severely manipulated by someone. The manipulation led to all the events listed.

Simple breakdown: Psoriasis is fuelled by an immune signal called IL-23. Top treatments block it, but they’re injections. Icotrokinra blocks the same signal in a daily pill. Half got 90%+ clearer skin in 16 weeks. 1 in 4 cleared completely. FDA approved it in March.
A new oral peptide called Icotrokinra completely cleared psoriasis in 27% of patients after 16 weeks. And 50% saw at least 90% improvement. All from a once-daily pill!
