She allegedly watched 5 to 10 kids at a time. She was allegedly paid $45 per kid per day, in cash. The village alleged she had no current CPR certification. It also alleged no baby monitors, no emergency plan and no proper beds. She allegedly couldn't even say how many kids she watched. She allegedly didn't know one toddler's last name. After Grant died, she planned to reopen within 2 weeks. A judge shut her down. She pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and child endangering on Oct. 27. A charge carrying up to 11 years was dropped. Sentenced to 5 years. That's what a baby's life was worth. In court, Grant's mom said DiMarzio wanted to reopen the day of Grant's funeral, then they went on a family cruise and posted "family is forever." The judge said, "How tone deaf do you have to be?"
