Jensen handled it with grace and class He’s truly a generational leader and entrepreneur 💚
Jensen’s Berlin keynote briefly interrupted by a protester. He handled it like a pro. It was a small moment that captures the broader tension around AI’s impact, both in the room and around the world.$NVDA

Live from #NVIDIAGTC Berlin 2026. @JensenHuang highlighting the rapid growth of agentic AI and what it means for the next generation of AI infrastructure. According to OpenRouter data presented during the keynote, AI agents are consuming 34x more tokens than at the start of February 2026, reaching 132.6 trillion weekly tokens in early October. As Jensen's second slide illustrates: "AI Factories Produce Intelligence. Agents Put Intelligence to Work." AI agents bring together models, knowledge, tools and execution environments to perform increasingly complex tasks, generating demand for more computing power and intelligence. We are moving beyond AI models that simply respond to questions towards systems that can execute workflows and deliver outcomes. The real challenge is turning this growing intelligence into measurable productivity and economic value. #NVIDIA #GTCBerlin #AgenticAI CC @YuHelenYu @efipm @enilev @JagersbergKnut @TysonLester @CurieuxExplorer @GlenGilmore @FrRonconii @chidambara09 @jeancayeux @mvollmer1 @Nicochan33 @RLDI_Lamy @pchamard @mikeflache @Fabriziobustama @Mack1510019 @ipfconline1 @PawlowskiMario @drsharwood @kalydeoo @baski_LA @AnthonyRochand @smaksked @Eli_Krumova @andresvilarino @gvalan @AI_4_Healthcare @bimedotcom @arlenenewbigg @NewsNeus @domingonarvaez1 @bamitav @jornalistavitor @jblefevre60 @FmFrancoise @MHcommunicate @Corix_JC @c4trends @smoothsale @amalmerzouk @PVynckier @bbailey39 @ralf_ladner @mary_gambara

🚨𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: @zerohashx just killed the wallet address. Launched today at Money20/20 in Las Vegas, its new product AUTH moves crypto, stablecoins, and tokenized securities account-to-account. No copying long strings. No picking the right chain. For years, onchain rails have been powerful but painful. One wrong character and the funds are gone. AUTH structures transfers around accounts instead of addresses. Link an account once, and it just works. The scale behind it stands out: • 600+ connections, custodial and self-custodial • ~250 million users in 190+ countries • @RobinhoodCrypto , @coinbase , @cryptocom .com, @Gemini , @MetaMask , @phantom and more To lead it, zerohash hired Ryan Beaudry as GM, ex-Mastercard , where he ran Open Finance across nearly 100M connected accounts and 15 billion API calls a year. 💬 "Onchain rails scale when users stop thinking about the underlying technology," said Beaudry. Usability, trust, and control. That's the part crypto has been missing. Source/more info: lnkd.in/dvrRZsvK

🚨𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: @monzo is turning to private equity after Nubank walked away from a potential £10 BILLION takeover. According to FT, the UK digital bank has reportedly held early-stage talks with CVC and Advent International about selling a stake of up to 15%: lnkd.in/dJ29fpsy The talks came after Monzo and Nubank failed to agree on a price: lnkd.in/d44te4Ji It follows a turbulent year at Monzo, including a boardroom battle that saw TS Anil replaced as CEO by former Google executive Diana Layfield. Since taking over, Layfield has closed Monzo’s US offices and refocused its international expansion on Europe. Monzo could still raise traditional VC funding, but private equity is reportedly now its preferred route as it looks for more capital to fund growth. Interesting next chapter for one of Europe’s biggest digital banks.. Where do you think Monzo should go from here?

Massive deal if true. Quick thoughts: 👉 This would give @nubank a valuable entry point into Europe, with a set team and licenses. 👉 This would be the only credible neobank challenger to @Revolut, capable of quick international expansion. 👉 M&A carries a lot of risk. If this works, Nubank has the capital to support rinse-and-repeat efforts in other geos (@Chime? @gcashofficial? Uzum?), but if it doesn't work, there will be significant cash and operational drag that could hinder Nu's further expansion.

I wrote a three-part series on AI's trillion-dollar ROI problem because one article wasn't enough to cover how badly companies are getting this wrong. 89% adoption. 80% of employees say it works. 6% of companies see real financial returns. That gap isn't a rounding error. It's an indictment. Part one lays out the scale. Part two shows that 45% of companies still need full human review after "automating" workflows. Part three names what nobody's measuring: Intelligence Capital, the compounding value of better decisions that AI should be enabling but isn't. The blank check era is over. What's your company actually getting for the money? Washington passed the GENIUS Act to make dollar stablecoins the world's digital currency. The world responded by building its own to protect monetary sovereignty. Non-USD stablecoin holders grew 2,900% in three years. Nigeria launched a naira stablecoin. Brazil is banning stablecoins from cross-border payments starting October. Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea are all issuing stablecoin licenses for their own currencies. The US assumed dollar dominance was the default. Turns out it was a choice other countries could decline. How many more countries launch local stablecoins before Washington notices the pattern? richturrin.substack.com/p/ca… #fintech #tech #finserv #AI @BetaMoroney @efipm @BrettKing @spirosmargaris @jasuja @enricomolinari @mikeflache

🚨 FINANCE: Amex launches business savings account American Express has launched a business high-yield savings account designed to help users earn more on their deposits and manage their finances in one place. Business savings will now come together with the business checking account. Customers can apply for one or both through one application and manage their banking alongside their American Express Card products online or in the Amex App. The savings account comes with an APY of 2.95%, the ability to make and receive transfers online or through the app, and integration with accounting software and bank linkages. The move is part of a strategy from Amex to offer business members an expanded and more integrated offering. Later this year, the company will introduce a new way for Graphite Business Cash Unlimited card members to redeem reward dollars for deposits into their business checking accounts, followed by a new payroll solution with AI-powered insights coming early next year. 🚨 JUST IN: @AmericanExpress , the card company, is quietly building itself into a small-business bank. It announced today a high-yield business savings account. On its own, a modest product – but it's the stack forming around it that's worth noting. Per Amex, Business Savings and its existing Business Checking now sit under one "Business Banking" umbrella, with Gusto-powered payroll and card-rewards-into-deposits on the way. A card issuer is assembling the pieces of a full banking relationship for businesses. The savings account is live now. Amex says it offers 2.95% APY (current advertised rate, subject to change), no minimum balance, no monthly fees, and instant no-fee transfers to/from Amex Business Checking. Deposits sit with American Express National Bank (FDIC-insured), so Amex is the actual bank here. Amex's Graphite Business card earns 2% cash back in Reward Dollars. Later this year, cardholders can redeem those rewards as a direct deposit into their Business Checking at 1:1. A card feeding a bank account – keeping spending and cash in the same ecosystem. More is coming. Early next year, Amex says it'll add a Gusto-built payroll solution inside Business Checking, plus an AI tool for payroll insights. Checking, savings, payroll, card rewards into deposits – a single place for a small business to hold and move money. Amex has deep business relationships through its cards, and it's wrapping banking around them to become the account businesses operate from, not just the card they pay with. It's the same consolidation playing out across fintech, a card company this time, building toward being the primary financial home for the businesses it already serves.

More AI Fears: An @AnthropicAI researcher is quitting the artificial-intelligence industry over fears that the lab and its competitors are racing to build systems they won’t be able to control. Jacob Coxon, a researcher who specializes in training new AI models by having them consume vast amounts of data, said Tuesday that he is leaving the company because he doesn’t want to participate in an industrywide rush to build AI systems that can improve themselves, worried such systems could spiral out of control and destroy humanity. 🚨HUGE: South Korea officially commits to moving its entire stock market onto the blockchain. The financial regulator unveiled a three-phase roadmap to tokenize stocks, bonds and funds, starting February 2027. It will pilot tokenized listed stocks through the Korea Exchange, referencing the NYSE and Nasdaq. The final phase puts both securities and payments fully onchain, settled with stablecoins.

I meant to say half trillion in IT assets (not budgets). Yes many financial institutions have 10+ billion in annual budget! JPMorgan Chase: The global financial institution allocates $19.8 billion for its annual technology budget, employing over 65,000 technologists. Walmart: As the world's largest traditional retailer, capital expenditure and technology allocations run upwards of $24 billion total (with core multi-billion-dollar enterprise IT and automated supply-chain infrastructure spending) to support global e-commerce and automated distribution centers Bank of America: The major financial services firm operates with an estimated annual technology spend of roughly $14 billion focused on security, mobile platforms, and automated client insights.

Coinbase’s AiFi isn’t a new stack. It’s a rebrand of tools already shipped: Agents, Advisor, x402, Business, USDC on Base. @coinbase is "bundling" agentic trading and payments under one name -AiFI - so when AI agents need money, they pick Coinbase.

Visa just open-sourced an AI security tool. I doubt the free tool is where it expects to make the money. VVAH can find vulnerabilities, triage them, suggest fixes and check whether the fix actually worked. Visa says some remediation cycles that took weeks can now shrink to hours. Sounds great until the scanner starts finding things faster than the security team can clear them. Then detection isn’t really the bottleneck anymore. Someone still has to decide what is actually dangerous, what gets fixed this week, what can sit in the backlog, and how much risk the bank is willing to sign off on. Visa’s consulting arm is already moving into that part too. It’s offering assessments built around VVAH, help prioritizing risks and remediation roadmaps. There’s training on top. If the tool gets good enough, the scan gets cheap. The expensive part is still having someone senior enough to say: fix this first, leave that one for later, and here’s why.
