An editorial published jointly by the Jewish News and the Jewish Chronicle before the supreme court hearing accused Palestine Action of “targeting… the Jewish community”.
In response, hundreds of prominent Jewish voices, including Holocaust survivors and their families, wrote an open letter – seen by The Observer pre-publication – in support of the group.
“We… reject any implication that Palestine Action was antisemitic or was directing its activities at Jewish people or businesses because they were Jewish,” they wrote. “There are a growing number of Jewish people speaking up and demonstrating for an end to the illegal occupation, the genocide in Gaza, the escalating violence in the West Bank and for the right to Palestinian self-determination. These voices are rarely represented in legacy media.”

I never cease to be disappointed by people who fail to understand the power of propaganda and the manufacturing of consent.
Nobody - certainly not the establishment and their media - gave a rat's behind about the Green Party until it became a visible force for change under Zack's leadership. Then the weight of the mainstream billionaire-owned media was rained down on him personally, and the party as a whole. Gorton and Denton was the alarm bell that set the establishment scurrying.
There are two things you can do at this juncture, Rupert:
1) Give in to the pressure, throw in the towel, and hanker after the days of being that quaint little party that everyone tolerated because it would never have any power, and was no threat to anyone or anything; or
2) Fight back.
You choose.
But if you choose the former, please have the decency to take a step back, and let those of us who want to do the latter get on with the job of creating a safe planet for everyone.

If there is not robust action then nothing will have been learnt from “the Corbyn years”.
If @AdrianRamsay feels he has a vision for @TheGreenParty that would be more compelling than Zack’s then challenge him.
