Made Martin Drury smile ✅
Quizzed him on his teams IP & OOP concepts.
Always such a pleasure due to the amount of insight he gives.

Not a good dude
Nico Gonzalez is in a lone pivot, Newcastle's CB's struggle to defend the wide areas, Hall is the only progressive player & there is not much final third quality in the team
Matthias Jaissle left furious after Newcastle were dumped out of the Carabao Cup:
"It's shocking and it's frustrating as well and therefore I probably need to scream more. You need to avoid these mistakes, be more mature, more clinical in these situations, just a clearance, a pure clearance. This is a learning process, but you don't get the time, and we need to learn fast, especially with these young lads." 😡

All at Huddersfield Town are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter Sir Patrick Stewart. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this sad time.
A titan of his craft and a legend and hero to millions worldwide, his legacy will live on. Fiercely proud of his Yorkshire roots, Sir Patrick was a Terrier in every sense, and we’re proud to have counted him as one of our own.
Once a Terrier, always a Terrier 💙

Perfect example here from a recent Hoffenheim goal. This is how you disorganise blocks and manipulate marking. Through rotation, mobility & depth. These three combined together get you the most valuable thing in football: SPACE.
Don't think the 'pass & move' game has ever been so important than it is today. It feels like every good team, at the moment, is class at rotating positions, running off markers and finding spaces. You hear 'wide triangles' a lot but what makes them effective is the mobility within the rotation. It's one of the main reasons I think Brighton have been so good this season too.
No Strikers
No Left Wingers
Half a left back
Great squad planning.
🚨 Confirmed: Benjamin Sesko out until at least January through shin injury.
Period of rest is required so striker is fully healed.

to think he’s been nursing this injury for over 4 months now & gets no grace because it’s hardly been documented/was still making MD squads.
he started the season at 60-70% & further aggravated the groin area against city.
best open play creator ITL despite everything, rooney should try harder with his fiction.
