After 16 weeks of RIGOROUS grind at @Web3Bridge, participating in their Zero Knowledge program; My team built a full shielded token stack on EVM for private token transfers and I’m sharing both a demo video (Privacy native wallet extension + User facing dApp UX) and the technical paper in this post. Architecture: Noir circuit + Barretenberg/Aztec UltraHonk proving + Solidity verifier + relayer + client-side note discovery. Model: UTXO-style notes with - commitment = Poseidon(owner_pk, token_field, amount, blinding), - Nullifier-based one-time spends (nullifier = Poseidon(spending_key, commitment)), - Depth-20 incremental Merkle tree + rolling root window, fixed public input lanes, and mode-gated constraints for transfer/unshield. - ShieldedERC20Pool (multi-token allowlisted pool) with routed encrypted note delivery (RoutedCommitment) using ECDH + HKDF-SHA256 + AES-GCM, and channel/subchannel for note discovery. Design goal is explicit: private in-pool state transitions with verifiable integrity, while shield/unshield remain honest public boundary actions. If you watch the video + read the paper, you’ll see both the privacy native wallet extension and the user facing dapp full loop working end-to-end: shield → private transfer(s) → note scan/decrypt → nullifier checks → unshield. Big shout out to the mentors holding our hands throughout the duration of the program. The knowledge passed has been invaluable. @WiseMrMusa, @only1franchesco, @Oba_Ddev, @Dev_esayayo. Next steps for us are; - Production hardening and compliance-by-design - Formal security review/audit of circuits/contracts/relayer, wallet key-management hardening (secure enclaves/HSM-backed options), relayer auth + anti-replay protections - Performance tuning for proof latency/UX. - In parallel, we’ll implement a compliance layer that preserves base protocol privacy while enabling jurisdiction-aware controls at the app edge (sanctions/geo screening for boundary actions, risk scoring/transaction monitoring, optional disclosure and auditable consent flows for regulated contexts), alongside legal review and phased rollout with testnet pilots before mainnet. Read technical document here: drive.google.com/file/d/1oDq… References / lineage: (@Zcash) Zcash protocol (UTXO commitments, nullifiers, shielded value flow) (@Ztark_Labs) STRK20 shielded token design direction (@aztecnetwork) Aztec/Barretenberg UltraHonk proving system Noir language/tooling for circuit authoring.

We've always advocated for a testnet-first approach to building on @Stacks. But before you deploy to testnet, you should be able to build and test your dApp locally as well without friction. That's what this 2-minute demo shows. - One command starts a local Stacks chain. - One command deploys your contract. - One command launches your frontend. Choose an already devnet funded wallet and interact with your contract immediately on the debug UI. No faucet. No waiting. No unnecessary setup. With Scaffold Stacks, you go from a fresh project to a working, testable dApp in minutes. The goal is simple: spend less time setting up your development environment and more time building on Stacks. ⚛️ Could a quantum computer steal your Bitcoin? #Quantum computing could eventually challenge the cryptography that protects our digital assets. But what exactly is at risk? And should crypto users be worried? In Episode 1 of my Quantum Threat series, we break down: 🔹 How Shor's algorithm threatens digital signatures. 🔹 What Grover's algorithm means for hash functions. 🔹 Why STARK proofs have a promising post-quantum security profile. 🔹 Why the industry needs to prepare before the threat becomes practical. No panic. Just the facts you need to understand what's coming. @Starknet @StarkWareLtd

stacksdapp 0.2.5 is out. This release enhances the local devnet flow and includes fixes for clean and redeploy. - `stacksdapp dev` runs the local chain in that terminal - `stacksdapp deploy --network devnet` deploys from a second terminal - `stacksdapp dev --network devnet` starts the Next.js app against that local chain - On devnet, Choose Wallet lists the funded accounts from `Devnet.toml` - Testnet and mainnet still use Connect Wallet - `stacksdapp clean` restores a running devnet to the snapshot and leaves the process up after which the next deploy uses the current contract name (no auto-version bump) - Clean waits until Stacks is mining again. If the tip does not move, it restarts only the signer - Auto-version steps forward only when that exact name is already on chain (`counter` to `counter-v2`) Install or update: `cargo install stacksdapp` Docs: scaffoldstacks.mintlify.app Release: github.com/scaffold-stack/sc…

Binance was hacked for $6.3B and @Stacks is up 2% on the day. Bitcoin native finance FTW. Are you participating in the Bitcoin economy and Bitcoin capital markets? Here are a few updates from around the eco and some TA on price action. NFA and DYOR Im a holder of blockstack:native
Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified. The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far. Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete. As an immediate precaution, Binance has: - temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed; - revoked the affected address authorisation; - engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds. Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice. Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates. Please feel free to contact Binance Customer Support if you have any further questions. binance.com/en/support/annou…

Where’s your money sitting right now? If it’s on @solana , @avax , @base , @arbitrum or @Polygon , you can already move it into Stacks through Hermes. $USDC, $SOL , $AVAX, $ARB, $POL and more can come across in one flow and land as $STX or $USDCx. You don’t have to approve a contract or hand over control. Hermes has a simple send-and-receive model you send what you want to move, and it arrives on the other side in seconds.

We hosted a community builder call to walk through Scaffold Stacks, with participants building alongside us. With @kenzman18 guiding the session, everyone built a full Stacks dApp of their own using the stacksdapp CLI, with AI agents assisting along the way. By the end, every participant had deployed a contract to Stacks testnet and published their frontend to Vercel. They worked through project setup, connected Clarity contracts to the frontend, generated hooks and deployed. Scaffold Stacks gives builders (New and Existing builders) a practical path through those steps, so they can spend less time wiring the project together and more time building the product. The screenshots are from the call, with the community building in real time. If you’re building on Stacks, YOU NEED Scaffold Stacks: scaffoldstacks.mintlify.app 🟧

A large enough quantum computer could break the ECDSA signatures securing many blockchains today. @StarkWareLtd's STARK proofs take another path: they rely only on hash functions. On @Starknet we're pushing two fronts: faster proofs and cheaper post-quantum signatures. 🧵

Troves now supports privacy end to end with shadow accounts. Shielded tokens can earn yield in Troves vaults while staying private, with no onchain link back to your main wallet. How it works: 1. Shield funds in Ready, Xverse or Bramble. That balance sits in Starknet’s STRK20 privacy pool. 2. Turn on Private mode in Troves. Your wallet derives a commitment for Troves, and each vault gets its own shadow account computed from that commitment and the vault’s ID. Separate vaults use separate addresses, unlinked to each other and to your wallet. 3. Deposit. One transaction moves funds from the privacy pool to the vault’s shadow account and deposits them. Your wallet builds the proof. 4. Withdraw. Ekubo LP vaults return funds to your shielded balance in one step. Hyper xSTRK, the Boosted vaults and the Evergreen vaults redeem asynchronously: request the withdrawal, then collect it back to your shielded balance once it settles, typically within 1-2 hours. Available in private mode: > All active Ekubo LP vaults, including STRK/USDC, STRK/ETH and the strkBTC pairs > Hyper xSTRK > WBTC Boosted and USDC Boosted > The Evergreen vaults Live now at app.troves.fi

Private yield generation is now live on Troves. Earn yield through automated vaults and Ekubo strategies without publicly linking your positions to your main wallet. Powered by STRK20 Shadow Accounts.
