There's nothing that highlights the whole equal partners UK bullshit better than all these voice recognition apps that steadfastly refuse to recognise Scots. If Scotland actually had a Scottish voice to speak out to the world, we'd be recognised, instead we hae baldy devo Brit

Scotland isn’t blind it’s being managed.
Polls don’t reflect the reality they keep us in the middle government adjust the narrative
They reflect the media environment that shapes who speaks, who stays silent, and what
Is “normal” or how it is allowed to look.
That’s not the reality that’s what Westminster and its media wants you to believe. No No No
For decades , the UK media machine has framed independence as fringe separatists loonies while treating the union as default sensible law abiding citizens .
Am I right
That’s not the reality that’s narrative control SNP has aligned itself to with the five years for a referendum garbage basically BS.
Most people I meet want independence now not tomorrow or next week right now in fact yesterday, tell me I’m wrong if you dare
Most Scottish conversations are on getting independence. ASAP
They live and breathe independence.
But the English system keeps fooling, and dripping the narrative whispering in our ears telling us to believe we’re wrong too small too weak to poor to run our own country. BS
This isn’t normal it’s perverted
This isn’t accidental it’s deliberate
It’s not organic it’s manufactured
It’s not impartial it’s total bias
It’s media manufactured doubt
Scotland deserves better than a future decided by distortion division and lies.
Independence isn’t a poll number. It’s the Scottish nation waking up realising this is our land this is our country this is our home and we do not agree or accept Westminster England has any rights to lord it over us.
Who in Scotland would dare to say Westminster has been a good partner in this union?
Who would even say Englands Westminster government has even attempted to play the game,
you would need to be deaf dumb and blind not to recognise the hypocrisy of Westminster and the SNP leadership.
So they use THEIR narrative control over THEIR media which THEY own to distort the facts.
But no more
the time for independence is now not in five years right now and all the people of Scotland already know it.
Still MSM drip drip drip their little stories into the minds of the Scottish people drip feeding the the population.
We see it on tv we hear it on the radio even on X the papers everywhere and the algorithm hides our Scottish comments.
In the background
Right now is the bloody time now is the only time we have and the MSM can take a hike. 359 days

🚨How the City of London is not part of the UK.
🚨For those who have not seen this before it’s important you watch and listen. The City of London, Washington DC and the Vatican City all have special status. This gives special rights and protections to those in these areas.

If only the constitutional issue could command as much attention as 'currency', perhaps by now we'd have the prospect of a proper constitutional referendum and independence. If only the mechanics of restoring Scotland's independence could be discussed with the same intensity as the quest for the Holy Grail of the universally acceptable answer to every question anyone might care to ask of Scotland's independence movement.
There was me thinking Scotland's cause was about the people of independent Scotland having the 'right to decide'. But everywhere I turn, I find people intent on making those decisions long before the phrase "the people of independent Scotland" is meaningful. Just the other day I saw a self-appointed group issuing a very selective invitation to a 'summit' for the purpose of compiling a catalogue of 'day one guarantees' on a variety of matters.
They wouldn't be 'guarantees', of course. Only the Scottish Parliament has the authority to decide what will be on day one as an independent nation. As things stand, there is not the remotest possibility of the Scottish Parliament being asked to approve an interim constitution. Even more remote is the prospect of the people of Scotland being asked to ratify that interim constitution as part of the Act of the Parliament of Scotland which dissolves the Union.
But nobody wants to talk about these things. They want every matter settled for a post-independence Scotland, except the matter of how we get to be independent. The process by which independence will be restored is a taboo topic. Let's talk about the colour of postage stamps after independence.

Why “five years” feels like giving up
Because in Scotland’s political context, a five‑year delay isn’t neutral it’s functionally a veto.
Not legally, but psychologically and strategically.
Momentum dies over five years. Movements don’t stay hot without action.
Westminster benefits from delay more than Scotland does every year of drift strengthens the status quo.
Public belief erodes when leaders talk about independence but don’t act.
International legitimacy weakens if Scotland appears unsure or divided.
Stop talking five years and start talking now this is when Scotland wants independence right this very minute we have done for fifty years Westminster has delayed and manipulated Scottish governments into complacency for decades.
The civil group calls for independence now.

So when Scots hear “five years,” they don’t hear “strategy.”
They hear stalling, fear, or collusion even if that’s not the intention.
I’m not saying that is the case; I’m saying that’s how it lands emotionally and politically.

“ Edinburgh Single-Sex Spaces ‘will cost council £23.5 million’
Edinburgh City Council has reluctantly met to consider plans to amend their facilities in order to comply with the Supreme Court ruling on single sex spaces. By their calculations it will cost £23.5 million over 10 years, which includes £192,000 a year for a project team, plus work over 600 buildings on 286 sites, updated signage, adaptation of facilities and accessibility upgrades.
But the council is still decidedly lukewarm, citing what they claim are a number of legal challenges in progress against the EHRC guidance (good luck with that), not wanting to incur expense which may prove not to be necessary, and are keen to ensure everyone is treated fairly and equally (apart from women insisting on their legal rights).
The council eventually consulted with gender-critical women’s groups but only after those groups had had to protest against their initial exclusion from consultation.
Might have been better if the council had consulted a lawyer first on the actual law, instead of taking advice from trans activists which proved to be wrong. Maybe those who advised Edinburgh can pay the £23.5 million for them? “

Lighbulb moment: A thought occurred to me as I was writing a response to a letter in The National from Hayden Kyle. The letter makes sobering arguments that the more easily pleased among the SNP membership would do well to attend to. The part of Hayden’s missive which snagged my attention is the following: ift.tt/rmW6GeJ

If the Union is voluntary, what is the route for leaving it?
If the answer is “only when Westminster agrees”, then the Union begins to look less like a partnership of consent and more like a constitutional arrangement controlled by one side

Swinney is the most spineless gutless individual to creep its way into the highest echelons of SNP and that bar is very low as we know it would require slivering under, THIS SNP have no interest in INDY nor the betterment of its people they must be removed
John Swinney completely flummoxed under tough questioning from @KathrynSamsonC4 on the SNP’s time-limited commitment to the triple lock made during the 2014 referendum campaign. He was clearly not expecting to be challenged on this, and has no answer.
