A truck carrying soda has overturned near Wampewo Roundabout causing traffic delays especially vehicles heading to the City Center on Jinja road.
By now i thought the @JudiciaryUG would have made a statement on this.
No wonder Singiza in Feb 2025 when he was High Court Judge said he’s taking an administrative decision to send Besigye back to prison because he was too ill to be in court. He’s today openly endorsing the very person that has vowed to hang Besigye! Who will still have any confidence in the @JudiciaryUG to administer Justice?
Earlier this morning ,i witnessed one your street cleaners using her bare hands to clean up puup. nitter.cf/nvulescribe/status/211…
A number of issues have been raised under this post, and I would like to respond to them.
Firstly, thank you for the feedback, Kampala people.
As one of you rightly put it, infrastructure, order and cleanliness are returning. We are encouraged by this recognition, Mr @AmanyaAloyo, and we acknowledge that there is still more work to do.
Please note that Binaisa Road is already being rehabilitated, with drainage works currently underway.
To those pointing out the endless political pictures around the city and other unnecessary paper adverts on poles and structures, we hear you. We will continue enforcing the applicable regulations on unauthorised posters and advertising to protect Kampala’s public spaces and maintain a clean urban environment. ( @isaac_muganza1 )
On the concern that the directive requiring commercial property owners to pave their forecourts appears to have quietly faded away, we recognise the importance of sustained enforcement and follow-through. We will continue engaging property owners and monitoring compliance to improve pedestrian access, safety and the overall appearance of our streets. ( @AndrewAgaba9)
To those raising concerns about boda bodas riding on one-way roads and failing to follow traffic signals, road safety remains a priority. We will continue working closely with the Traffic Police and other stakeholders to promote discipline on our roads and address dangerous riding practices.
In addition, we are in the final stages of operationalising the Kampala Capital City Public Transport Ordinance, which will strengthen regulation of the sector. (@rbagaba , @TheMatundaMan )
And to everyone saying, “This is the Kampala we love to see. Clean, organised and moving forward!” thank you.
We remain committed to strengthening road infrastructure, drainage systems, waste management, street lighting and public space management to make that vision a lasting reality.
How will these new figures work out with increased inflation and shilling drops against the dollar. @mofpedU
Leaders at @KCCAUG ,@Buzeki_Sharifah @KCCASpox please give safety gears to your staff.

Micheal Carrick's statement after the match isn't convincing at all.
He is basically telling his bosses to fire him.
Other than saying that he is interested in doing what he does as Coach.
He doesn't indicate how he plans to turns things around.
It's very clear that the job has become too big for Micheal Carrick.
The way the team plays is an indication that the manager has failed in his role .
Last week's attack on the manger's tactics by the team Captain Bruno is a clear indication that the boys are tired .
My prediction .
Carrick will soon throw in the towel.
Benching his Caption Bruno, due to the bunter that Bruno let out is a clear indication that the dressing room is currently divided.
I now agree that Carrick has lost it.
He made the tough descions to drop Bruno.
But It's obvious that their is no leadership on the pitch.
The players are lucking intensity and the frustration amongst them is evedent hence the four bookings. @ManUtd
Very strange that Bruno is missing in action. Bring me up to speed is he the guy responsible for the club's bad performance.
The error on my CIU machine reads EO-7.
A section of an entire village doesn't have power me inclusive.
It went off Saturday morning during the heavy down pour.
@UEDCLTD @MDofUEDCL location is Bujuuko - Nansana.
Sacking Carick wont solve the problems at United. The board and Scouting directors have to make some really tough decisions.
We need a board that understands the brand and are ready to spend and die for the brand @ManUtd .
Something isn't right @ManUtd .
I have just attached a video that I picked on YouTube of United playing under Lengedly Sir Alex Ferguson.
The team had passion and purpose 💪.
Over the years, all the vigour that once existed is gone.
Today the team is playing worse than it
played under Ten Hag.
What did Ferguson do that all his followers have failed to do?
United's board seems to be comfortable with whatever is happening ☺️.
Is the team responsible for scouting players compent?
What should be done to save United? #ComoManchesterUnited
