DAY 2 OUTSIDE IRCC.
Look at the children standing in the cold beside their parents.
They are not politicians. They are not decision-makers.
Yet their families’ futures are now surrounded by uncertainty.
These children should be sitting in warm classrooms, playing with friends, and enjoying their childhood, not attending a sit-in to ask government officials to hear their families’ concerns.
We respectfully ask IRCC to meet with affected families and ensure fair, case-by-case assessments.
Please don’t let these children’s voices go unheard.

Thank you, @BradRedekopp for speaking out on this important issue. The distinction between ordinary Iranians compelled to serve under an authoritarian regime and genuine IRGC members who aligned with and supported the organization is essential.
At a time when IRGC supporters are openly active in our communities, we must not allow inflated numbers achieved by targeting former conscripts to create a false impression of progress in combating terrorism.
Transparent screening criteria are essential to both fairness and national security. They reassure innocent families that Canada remains committed to human rights while helping ensure genuine threats are identified, and those responsible are not overlooked.

Our peaceful gathering will continue until @CitImmCanada meets our representatives and provides clear, transparent answers.
Iranian lives matter. We never supported the regime. Failing to overthrow it does not make us terrorists for fulfilling compulsory state obligations.
Day 1 of a 3-day peaceful gathering in Ottawa.
Families of former Iranian conscripts are outside IRCC and CBSA offices, speaking for thousands across Canada who disclosed their conscription honestly and transparently—yet face inadmissibility findings that affect their entire families including minor children.
Evidence from affected families shows that conscription alone is being treated as IRGC membership, despite previous assurances from the government.
Our request is simple: meet with IRCC senior decision-makers, explain how these cases are assessed, and listen to affected families.
Canada must have clear guidelines that distinguishes forced conscripts from voluntary IRGC members. Fairness, transparency, and family unity matter.
