• #Rwandan fintech startup PACIN has won $10,000 in seed funding at the AI Ventures Accelerator (AIVA) Demo Day in Gurugram, India, after pitching its technology for expanding access to credit for small businesses.
• Founded by #Rwandan entrepreneur Amen Divine Ikamba, PACIN was among the winning ventures selected from the accelerator’s inaugural 2026 cohort of 22 founders.
• The six-month programme ended with the October 4–7 Demo Day, where founders presented their ventures to investors, mentors and industry leaders.
• PACIN develops technology that helps lenders assess borrowers using mobile money transactions and other financial data, enabling people without conventional credit records to demonstrate their creditworthiness.
• Ikamba said the funding will help the startup move from product development to testing, as it seeks partnerships with banks, microfinance institutions, lenders and mobile money providers.
