โข #Rwandan fintech startup PACIN has won $10,000 in seed funding at the AI Ventures Accelerator (AIVA) Demo Day in Gurugram, India, after pitching its technology for expanding access to credit for small businesses.
โข Founded by #Rwandan entrepreneur Amen Divine Ikamba, PACIN was among the winning ventures selected from the acceleratorโs inaugural 2026 cohort of 22 founders.
โข The six-month programme ended with the October 4โ7 Demo Day, where founders presented their ventures to investors, mentors and industry leaders.
โข PACIN develops technology that helps lenders assess borrowers using mobile money transactions and other financial data, enabling people without conventional credit records to demonstrate their creditworthiness.
โข Ikamba said the funding will help the startup move from product development to testing, as it seeks partnerships with banks, microfinance institutions, lenders and mobile money providers.

Selected for the inaugural AI Ventures Accelerator cohort, heading to Delhi in October for Demo Day.
Built @pacinnetwork (PACIN) to score the borrowers traditional credit bureaus cannot see, starting with the lenders across Africa locked out of that data.
Thank you @technovation and @GenUnlimited_ for building an accelerator that backs infrastructure this early.

This is the piece that connects directly to what we are building at PACIN. A continental credit rating agency only works if it is fed by transaction level intelligence from the ground up. Watching October 7 closely.
AFRICAโS TIME IS NOW. ๐
On 7 October 2026 in Mauritius, we officially launch the Africa Credit Rating Agency (#AfCRA), a bold step towards greater African agency, stronger financial sovereignty and ownership of Africaโs economic narrative.
Vision delivered. Promise honoured.
