When I was at MicroProse we found out that a pirate company had done a complete version of our game Red Storm Rising in Chinese. Completely translated, with a Chinese perfect-bound manual, a box, everything.
We decided to “join them” and asked if they wanted to become our official Chinese agents for all our games. They did, and that’s how we turned pirates 🏴☠️ into friends.
