The “Israel was promised to us” argument for statehood undermines Israel’s case.
Zionism’s core claim to sovereignty was always based on the Jewish people’s right to national self-determination in their historic homeland, where Jews have maintained a continuous presence throughout history, rather than on a religious claim that only makes sense to believers.
The secular argument is the one you can actually present to the rest of the world. You cannot expect the world to recognize your right to sovereignty just because your religion teaches that God promised you the land. That argument means nothing to the 99% who don’t share your beliefs, and relying on it actually weakens your case rather than strengthening it.
Israel is a sovereign country because it can fight for and defend its sovereignty when challenged. Any other explanation puts you in a position of weakness.

On his Oct 7, 2026 episode Tucker said he couldn't find an American killed on Oct 7 who wasn't also an Israeli citizen, and that Edan Alexander was "not even technically American."
Dual citizens are not even Americans so who cares.
Well, according to the Constitution of the United States, that person is an American.

Russia struck a railway station in Dnipro with a drone, killing 13 people who were simply waiting for their train.
The drone operators could see the platform in real time. They could see the civilians standing there. They knew what they were targeting, and they struck anyway.
