this is the real chaos, looting and destruction. Not high school students unhappy they don't have teachers before entering a mystery lottery draft for higher education.

Every one of these is basically "I've done what I can, it'd be nice to win but it's up to other people" That's not campaigning 😭
A thread of Harry Kane, the man who "worked in silence" and never campaigned for the Ballon d'Or like the others. (This is only since August btw):

I'm sorry but this is absolutely fucking ridiculous. I thought it was a joke. The concept of going to prison for being in 'possession' of facesitting porn. 😭😭😭

Would respect these people more if their first instinct wasn't to piss on our shoes and tell us it's raining. Nobody expects 40 years of neoliberalism to be unwound in a single budget, but Burnham and Healy can't even tell us that, because they're NOT ending neoliberalism!
Sophy Ridge: "Burnham.. promised to end 40 years of neoliberalism.. that wasn't a budget to end 40 years of neoliberalism, right?" John Healey: "I would say that's wrong" Who knew you could dismantle decades of neoliberalism by making gherkins a tiny bit cheaper?

Americans are immune to propoganda, they just on average think 21% of Americans are trans and 27% are Muslim for no real reason
I never want to hear about how Americans are propagandized again. We learn about the founding fathers' slaves in middle school, meanwhile grown ass adults in China think Mao was under democratic constraints somehow.

Bob Ross is actually a perfect example to show why art lovers are unimpressed by AI art. Bob Ross is not famous for his paintings. He is famous for his videos in which he showed *how* he made his paintings. The process matters!
the double standards are actually insane

These forecasts are hilarious. Another half year of misery, and then household disposable income just takes off like a rocket for... reasons?
Mindblowing chart from OBR. In 2029 real household disposable income per person expected to be just 1% higher than in 2019. What an unbelievably awful decade. It used to grow by 2%+ every year, not 1% in 10 years.

Hi everyone, Saturday 31st during our home game against Reading we'll be doing a fundraiser for Argyle 4 Autism and my son's school Lambourne Primary. As some of you might know, Oakley is autisitic and he is the reason that pushed me to start the programme together with Argyle Community Trust and the PFA. The funds will be directed towards improvements for a willow and sensory room in the school where Oakley and another 15 kids in the same situation will be able to have a safe space and improve their education. The school has been incredibly helpful with the new adjustments that Oakley is enduring at the start of his primary education. On Saturday you will see flyers with a QR code around the stadium together with a raffle that we'll be doing on match day where you will have the opportunity to win some match worn shirts from myself and some of my teammates. The QR code is now accessible if you wish to donate. Thank you in advance and every little help is much appreciated. See you Saturday💚 justgiving.com/charity/pafct

When I applied to university, we were told that most of us didn't have to worry about repaying our student loans because repayment would only kick in when you start earning £29,000.
🚨 NEW: John Healey will increase the minimum wage for over 21s from £12.71 to around £13.20

They’re calling it the worst take of all time
prove me wrong then because names like ben yedder, immobile, andre silva, piatek aka gunmen, diego costa, lacazette, aubameyang, cavani, aguero, suarez, robert, werner, zlatan, higuain, quagliarella... were all better than him at the height of the striker market 🤷🏽‍♂️

"Government insiders have told the Guardian the project can be approved on a strict reading of Britain’s climate obligations, in part because once the oil is exported, the emissions from burning it no longer count against domestic targets. “Miatta has more latitude than you might think,” said one." This is insanity masquerading as creative accounting.
EXCL: The giant Rosebank oilfield can be approved without breaching the UK’s emission targets, according to government insiders, in a boost to those in the cabinet who are pushing for it to be given the go-ahead. Sources also say the Treasury has already accounted for billions of pounds’ worth of tax revenue from Rosebank and so would be faced with a shortfall should it be rejected. If there's one thing Tories hate, it's the world that Thatcher built.
I earn £100 grand a year. I have a detached house. 2 cars and my wife is a full time home maker. I can just about afford this. I probably couldn’t afford the house I own if I was buying for the first time today. My salary puts me in the top 5% of earners in the UK. Top 5% to have a similar standard of living to Homer Simpson. That is a disgrace. We have a flatter salary distribution than Soviet Russia and the highest taxes and borrowing costs we’ve seen in generations. Success is almost impossible because our tax system means hard work makes you a stressed out tax cow, not wealthy and certainly not free. We need something radical. Less state. More family. Less handouts. More reward for risk. Instead. Tomorrow, Labour will offer another batch of policies which will send one message to aspirational Brits: why bother.
